Just the right size, quality and price point. A great value. Very well built. Some of the reviews mention a smell inside. I suspect that they addressed this issue because ours is just fine (no smell).

It feels very secure. It's heavy and easy to use. The instructions were straight forward. The shelves are durable. The size is perfect. I'm very happy that it comes with a back up key in case the buttons don't work.

great size, and like adjustable shelves. However DO not like taking off keypad to access batteries!!!! Plastic tab broke off when re-installing key pad!!!!!!! NOT user friendly.

Our improvement over a small (2cu ft) safe is incredible! Ease of operation over the traditional dial type is such an improvement. I'm considering ordering another.

Very Nice!!! We have bolted it to the floor, like the combination and the ability to use a key!! My only problem, is I should have ordered a larger one!! HAHA!!

I've had great luck with SentrySafes so the product itself is just fine. The interior space is right at 4.68, so I'll let them round up to 4.7. HOWEVER, comma, the exterior dimensions ARE NOT as advertised. :( The safe is only Sixteen inches wide (16") NOT 19" as advertised. The safe is only Twenty and a half inches (20.5") deep, and NOT 21.7. I might not argue much about an inch on the depth. It's not much, but an inch is an inch. However, I will express my extreme disappointment with the safe being short 3 inches across. I REALLY needed those 3 inches. If I had known the safe was going to be so much smaller than advertised I would have opted for a different model (perhaps a different brand). I'm going to mark the recommend box as a YES. But, that comes with a caveat emptor that the next person who buys this safe needs to understand that the external size is NOT as advertised.

Sam's Club end was great. Received when promised and packaged great. However, when we opened the box, the paint on the edges is all chipped off, and the plugs in the hinges are broken out. This is the second safe I purchased from Sentry, the first (smaller one) is great, but apparently their quality has gone down since my last purchase, about 8 years ago.

A good value for a fair-sized safe, big enough to hold lots of stuff, and not that much more expensive than those that hold about 1/3 as much. Easy to set your own 5-digit entry code. The factory code remains operative, and the skeleton key is a great safeguard against battery failure. The included hardware for bolting the safe to the floor only had one masonry anchor, necessitating a trip to the hardware store for another. Expensive to have shipped ($120.00) and there was no option to pick it up at a local store.

The specs from Sams Club clearly states that this safe will protect digital media and personal items. The owners manual that comes with the safe also CLEARLY states a WARNING - NO COMPUTER DISKS, AUDIO-VISUAL CASSETTES OR PHOTO NEGATIVES. It also recommends that you place delicate items in an air-tight container inside the safe. I interpret this to say "buy another safe that will fit inside this safe!". Still a reasonable price with a good sized interior.
