You have to charge it all the time it's very hard to take on and off really don't like it at I guess because my review is not good you won't even let me submit it what a joke

could not get the google web to activate the doorbell. not only that i was hacked. have to get a new credit card. google was very difficult or me to do. nothing worked for me. 81 and not good with computers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so coming from somewhere where there is already one installed in use when it came time for me to have my own for my own living space I was dreading it I thought it'd be so horrible to set up and install and all the programming and everything this Google nest doorbell is the simplest thing to install simplest thing to maintain simplest thing to use I just wish I would have done it a lot earlier I feel so much safer and to know that I've done it myself and I don't have to worry about anybody else knowing passwords or anything is phenomenal for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this one on my mudroom door which is adjacent to my garage. Most people wouldn't think that's helpful but for my family it's great. So when my son needs to come in from working late and doesn't want to disturb the whole house he can simply ring this doorbell. It also is great for when family stay in our guest room they can do the samw.

overall good camera though would like to see some improvements. 1) no setting for how many announcements are made via nest wifi access point speaker after doorbell button is pushed - currently only one announcement, 2) can't adjust volume for wifi access point speaker (google nest) when doorbell button is pushed, 3) can't add/edit quick responses (there are only three), 4) there is quite a bit of delay from when the doorbell button is pushed and notification arrives on my phone (pixel 3) - up to 10 sec even when I am home and on the same wifi network...some delivery people don't stick around that long waiting for a response...

I wanted something that was easy to use and understand, When I went searching I came upon this awesome product it definitely works like a charm . It's very loud I enjoy I can see who's at the door and packages left . It's amazing how well it detects people outside and it's a 24 hour servalance I can interact with whom ever comes up to it straight from comfort of my phone , when it becomes night time it still works really great easy to download app for it this product is by far a life saver to me .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome! Took less than 2 minutes to set up the app. Then about the same amount of time for the husband to mount it. We actually live more in the country, so we really aren't scared of someone stealing something. However, we do love it to see when our packages have been delivered. We haven't had any weather (other than hot and dry) to see how it will do when it rains or snows. So far we are loving it!! Well worth the money!!

The high contrast allows me to see everything even in the dark. In the past, I was only able to see half of my front porch now I am able to see the the packages on the ground. The best part is the ability to respond to the doorbell from anywhere or the option to set up pre-set responses.
