Please be advised that cold temperatures affect battery life. As the temperature gets colder, the battery life gets shorter. The battery won't charge at temperatures below 0°C (32°F), and will only charge slowly at temperatures close to freezing. We advise using the Battery Saver feature to preserve the battery life and improve the performance of your Nest Doorbell. Then, you can view, control and manage the doorbell settings using the app even when you’re not at home if your doorbell and Home app (phone or tablet) are both online.
