This doorbell looks so beautiful at the front of my door with it's sleek modern appearance. It's super simple to install and use. I love being able to chat with whomever is at my door without having to appear at the door. This is a great tool during this pandemic, not having to deal with direct contact at the door. This doorbell can be used on battery power only or connected to your existing doorbell wiring. I love that I can take this doorbell with me, when I choose to move to another location. It's very portable. The video quality is excellent with HD video and 24/7 surveillance. I just love all of the many features that this doorbell provides. It looks so nice and I feel much more secure in my home or while away. Excellent product, Google!

We have peace of mind that our guests have arrived safely and assurances of their departures. It has also provided proof on several occasions that a party was held at our properties which is against our guest policies. We can't live without our Nest doorbells!

I followed the on line instruction and it was easy enough to install but didn't work with my old battery chime doorbell, but if you have the nest hub I think that's what it is called it would replace having a doorbell according to the installation instructions. I love that it lets me know that someone is at the door when I am away from home. this was an easy step for me to get caught up on some new tech-knowledge that's been out there for a while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not know what to think at first about the Nest doorbell but I am incredibly glad I have it now! The install was really much easier than I anticipated. My doorbell had just two wires and after turning off the breaker and installing the two wires to the new nest doorbell it was just that easy. Turns out you dont even need to know which wire goes where. It only uses two wires. Simple. The app is straightforward and notifications are easy to program. Camera is very clear. Excellent doorbell! I can't wait to add other Nest items to my home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so very easy to install. Simple and direct making this perfect for anyone regardless of tech knowledge. Just charge it with the supplied cord and hang it at the door you wish. When someone comes to the door and pushes the bell it comes through on your connected device. Makes me feel more secure with being able to see who is at my door. No subscription to work through either. Camera picture and voice are very clear, I couldn't be any more happier with this.

Very easy integration with existing Google Home. Love being able to see live video on the Google Home display (but not history... that's only on the phone app for some reason). For some reason people don't seem to understand how to ring the doorbell. They are still rattling my screen door. And when they do ring the doorbell, half the time we don't get a notification. Battery has lasted about 2 weeks from fully charged. The unit is really large... maybe thats what is throwing everyone off. Video quality and sound are great.If I didn't use Google Home I probably would not go with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Nest doorbell (with battery) and upon first opening the box, I was a little surprised, as the doorbell was a bit bigger than I expected. Inside the box, you get everything you need to get started. Installation of the Nest doorbell was VERY easy, and I had no problems connecting it with the Google Home app. So far the video quality has been good, and the microphone seems to work well. You do get 3 hours of free video history, which I do wish was a little longer. I also love the "Familiar Faces" alert, however, if you would like longer recording history, or to use the "Familiar Faces" alert, you would have to sign up for Nest Aware. A few quick notes: they explain on their website that the battery version will not record continuously 24/7. You will need another Nest camera or Nest wired doorbell, along with a Nest Aware Plus to take advantage of that feature. Also, while this doorbell is weather-resistant, the directions mention that is it NOT waterproof, so if it does get damaged, you may lose the weather-resistance. While I have been happy with using the Nest doorbell powered by the battery, I do think we may eventually hardwire it, so we do not have to keep bringing it in to charge it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with this doorbell and rely on it heavily to keep track of visitors, monitor packages and provide a layer of security. One of the things I like best is the great picture quality. The camera angle is wide and covers a large area. Another good feature is that you can view the last 3 hour video event history for free. You can view longer history with an active subscription. A con for me is that setup was somewhat complicated and took a little longer than I anticipated. Overall, this is a great doorbell and I recommend it.

Setup was fairly easy and I'm really appreciating being able to see who is at my door even when I'm not home and since I have quite a few packages delivered I like knowing when they get there. Video and sound are good quality and the look is sleek with a slim design. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my battery powered Nest Doorbell around two weeks ago and it works great! The instructions were very clear, it was easy to install and only took around 5 minutes to completely set up. The best part about installation was, there are no wires. Since its battery powered it does need to be charged from time to time, but removal is simple and it doesn't take long to charge. The app used with this device is the Google Home app and the app is very convenient to have. I recieve notifications directly to my phone for people, vehicles, sound, the doorbell, seen and no longer seen packages and I can set it to recognize familiar faces. The best part about recordings and notifications is that I can set it to my own preference. No notifications for animals and insects, like my other cameras. The app also stores videos for easy playback and the audio and video are very clear, even at night! I can even talk with my guests through the nest doorbell, with two way audio. If I'm busy or not at home, I can send a quick reply straight to the doorbell. The only thing that could use some work would be the speaker on the doorbell itself. I have the volume all the way up, but the audio output is still pretty low. Besides that, it works perfectly!!
