[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Google Nest Video Doorbell (battery) about 2 1/2 weeks ago. It took a bit of research to find out how I was going to be able to view the video and hear the chime when at home. You do need to use a Google mini or a Google Hub Speaker or a compatible TV to hear and see the video and chime. I purchased a Google Hub Max to be able to view and hear the Google Nest Video Doorbell (battery) because my TV isn't a newer one. The doorbell comes with everything that you need to install it. It can be hardwired into you existing doorbell wiring with the wire leads that come in the box. It is advised to to fully charge the battery before installing. We had to place the doorbell on our brick wall because of where our old one was. This was a 2 person job. Once everything was up outside I was able view and talk to others via the Google home app through the doorbell. The night vision is great. My husband could clearly see that it was me at 11 pm. The different objects that you can be alerted to is very helpful. The only thing I wish the home app would do better is vibrate longer and to pick a louder notification sound. After adjusting the chimes sound, testing the different images that it will alert to and the two way voice it still shows 2 weeks of battery left. It does come with a key to release the doorbell to be able to charge it back up. I'm glad I got this video doorbell. It has given me a bit more piece of mind when I'm not home.

Set up was super easy and there are step by step instructions in the box and online. Living in rural Nevada, this has been a relief to use as we are able to see what happens on our property at night. This was also easy to set up with our google assistant and google home. I love that the doorbell can be taken off as well! So far we are happy with the Nest Doorbell, it's offered us piece of mind. It's also been fun to talk to the family while they are outside.

Was quite impressed with crispness of picture on my phone even in the dark. I get a lot of packages and it's great that it notifies me when it senses activity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As with all Nest products that I have worked with, the setup on this product is very straight forward and simple. They have great step by step instructions. It took me longer to locate my existing doorbell circuit to turn off power. I used the included wedge and spacers to adjust my viewing angle just right. This product comes with a battery option too, but I prefer not having to bring it in the house to charge. Overall, I've been very happy with this product!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest "Battery" doorbell is a good product. It does give you the option to be a wired or battery powered bell. I hooked mine up wired. If you go the battery route, you will need either a google smart display of a wireless bell. When hooking up wired to your existing bell, it utilizes your current bell. Video quality is really good. The motion responsiveness is good as well. Has a pretty cool auto reply feature. When someone rings your bell, you get an alert on your phone which allows you to reply back with 1 of 3 message. As this camera also allows for 2 way communication, the message gets heard by the person at the door. You can also have a conversation with the person. This is pretty cool. It very sturdy and built solid. My one complaint is that it's not supported on Echo devices, which is not good for me as all my devices are Echo. So, If you have a google smart home, this doorbell is an excellent choice.

I made sure to charge it overnight before installing it. It comes with everything you need to install it, you just need a screwdriver. The directions are super easy to follow and I had no issues installing it on my porch. You will have to install a app in order to use this doorbell. It has a lot of different setting to mess around with and the picture quality is awesome! I haven't had any issues with it so that's a plus. I am more then happy with this Nest doorbell!!

Provides so much security and peace of mind of what is going on when we aren't home. Also allows us to skip the door when cold callers arise. Easy to install and setup, just a matter of an hour or two. Clarity of the camera is awesome as well! Highly recommend!

Downloading the app let's you see and talk to whomever rings your doorbell. The app also lets you do some automation of snappy replies, when you busy or away. The installation was very easy, with quick-connect wire extensions and step-by-step instructions on the app.
