Just charge it with the supplied cord and hang it at the door you wish. When someone comes to the door and pushes the bell it comes through on your connected device. Makes me feel more secure with being able to see who is at my door. No subscription to work through either. Camera picture and voice are very clear, I couldn't be any more happier with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed with the Nest Doorbell. I got it to use at my back door, where I have packages delivered. The picture quality is fantastic. It is clear and sharp, and it gets an extensive area on the camera. I have a different name-brand doorbell at my front door, and the picture quality is not nearly as good as the Nest. It was simple to install, and my network immediately picked it up. The app is user-friendly, and I can even control my Nest thermostat in the same app. I think Nest is the best of video doorbells out there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was pleased to receive the Google Nest Battery Doorbell as our old one was getting very temperamental! Had heard good reports from friends who had this one. My husband installed it with no problem and set up the app on our phones where it gives a good clear picture. I like the slim design which is not obtrusive & gives me peace of mind to see who is at the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The setup was really straight-forward. pulling it out the box, going through the app, getting it installed was all easier than I expected. I installed it at one of my garage door entries that faces the side of my property and it has given me a piece of mind and extra awareness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the battery powered Nest Doorbell and it is a breeze to install. Drill two holes, screw on the base and snap on the doorbell. There is a little tool to release the doorbell for charging, which I will probably lose, but you can also use a flat head screwdriver to release it. I haven't had it very long so I can't speak to the battery life, but the notifications are plentiful and can be configured as you like them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice doorbell. It's a bit larger than some of the others, but that is not an issue. The video and sound quality are very good! Installation was not a problem and I went with the wired option. If I were to use the battery option, I would want an external speaker of some type as I like an audible chime. It's taking a bit to get used to the Home app. I don't get many visitors, but I'm anxious to test the Familiar Face Detection. My only concern is how dirty this might get if it gets lots of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Nest Doorbell because I didn't want to miss anyone that came to my front door, whether I was at home or away. This product was super easy to install because it runs on battery and I didn't need to wire it into my house. I love that I can see everyone that comes to my door to drop off a package without having to make sure I'm home to greet them! The best part is that the video is clear both during the day and at night. I highly recommend this product to anyone that wants to see who's at their door before they answer it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a time getting it set up. Had to find You tube video to assist me. Also a bit difficult on vinyl siding. There was o mention of the fact that there is a monthly charge to use this product when signing up to get it. I like the fact that there are two options for monthly service one being a lower more affordable price for me. I don't have many people coming to my front door due to the fact I am a distance from the road. Only people I usually get are deliveries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our home does not have a wired doorbell, and I have never needed a doorbell because I have dogs that will alert me if someone is at the door, so I have never looked into getting a doorbell. What I love is that this doorbell is battery operated and pretty easy to install, and had a video camera. It is nice getting a push notification with an image so I know weather or not I really want to answer the door. It makes it extremely convenient when packages are delivered so I know when there is a parcel at the door. The video quality is extremely good as well. The one downside is you have to purchase a subscription plan if you want longer access to your videos or storage of them. The doorbell is also quite large but I'm sure that's because of the battery. Overall its a great doorbell especially if you have no other choice but to get a non wired doorbell.
