No surprise, but the setup through the Google Home app was straight forward and took 10 mins. It comes with everything you need to install it and use it on battery. If you want to wire the doorbell into your existing chime, that is an option, but the setup is significantly more complicated.

I love how the doorbell allows me to talk and listen to anyone or noise that comes by.The night vision on this doorbell is very good . I would recommend this doorbell be installed by someone knowledgeable about tech gadgets so that it will work the way it supposed to.

It sends you notifications to your phone when someone is at the door or a package has been delivered. If even has an option to listen for broken glass or a smoke alarm. The picture is crisp and is very clear. It's easy to take down and charge as well.

I had only one question and I called Nest. My call was picked up in about a minute and I was up and running in only two minutes more. Support has been POSITIVELY GREAT whether via phone or email. They put their customers first! The video quality is amazing whether full color or if in a dark area, the use of very clear infrared. Excellent video quality with an easy way to search for video as well as it being easy to send video to law enforcement or anyone else. The video is stored in their NestHub and connects through wi-fi. No subscription needed for 3 hour window. The ability to respond realtime via two-way audio is also a real plus! The ability to set detection zones is ingenious and operates PERFECTLY. We have a lot of cars zooming by here, but there has NOT been any car detection, just people. I heartily recommend this security doorbell to anyone looking for something that really works and is backed by a support organization that is second to none!

It has a clear picture that is synced with an app where you can view the doorbells security cam as well as review videos. Comes with easy to read instructions which makes the installation easy. The build is very good and seems sturdy. The rechargeable battery makes it easy to place anywhere without relying on wires. Overall, this a very cool home security device that can give you peace of mind.

Just charge it with the supplied cord and hang it at the door you wish. When someone comes to the door and pushes the bell it comes through on your connected device. Makes me feel more secure with being able to see who is at my door. No subscription to work through either. Camera picture and voice are very clear, I couldn't be any more happier with this.
