[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, great picture and video quality. The notification and response time is very quick and I particularly like the ability to identify objects as well as facial recognition. What this doorbell camera lacks, though, is a more robust installation and use guide. While it does well on the basic nuts and bolts of installation, it lacks in explaining functionality. For example: In the process of installation, I didn't fully mount the unit because I wanted to test if it activated my wired doorbell first. It did not. Turns out, the unit needs to be mounted to it's metal backing plate before it will create a closed contact for the doorbell chime (possible internal magnetic switch). This caused a bit of frustration on my end. Additionally, there appears to be very little in the way of app user instructions. A more thoughtful and intuitive set of user instructions would go a long way. The only other drawback I see is- because the doorbell needs to have the metal backing plate to function. This creates a gap between the wall and the doorbell, and is exacerbated if you use the angle wedge for mounting. It doesn't really provide for a clean, aesthetically pleasing installation.

Instructions and installation was easy to follow. Button feedback felt solid after multiple usage. Camera quality was crystal clear in any lightning condition. I highly recommend.

The camera allows for huge pictures/video that is clear and bright. The only trouble we had was downloading the app but once we figured that out things worked out. We would recommend this doorbell and hope it lasts quite some time.

It was easy to install and I like how this one is battery powered so it won't disconnect if we lose power. It also has a sleek design so it doesn't look off-putting on our house, you actually barely notice that it's there!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Doorbell with Battery is awesome. I was about to get the Ring Doorbell but you have to Subscribe to use it. The Nest Doorbell you don't need a Subscription to use the Nest and I like that a lot. One thing is the camera isn't the best but for what you get with it it's worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we've been using this for about a month now. the picture and video quality are pretty good. and the battery seems to have a good life span. the only issue I've had with this is the tool to release the doorbell is a little on the small side, a thicker end would be nice.

I have 2 nest cam and had a hello door bell that went bad, got the new bell and now I need to use 2 apps to view my cameras. Products is still named nest and nest app don't support it. Wonder who make these kind of decisions? I was the app that that made to use cause it's simple. Google home app no way near user friendly. I own home automation businesses and sell nest products, from here on I'm not using nest. Can't let me custom use multiple app to view cameras.

Having peace of mind knowing whose at my door wheather home or when I'm away from home. I can easily see who was at my door or see when my family gets home. Installation was fast and simple.

It is able to decipher between a person and package and alerts me of which. It is also able to tell me when the package is gone. It's pretty cool. It is very easy to install and set up. Very good quality. I highly recommend this product.
