[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice doorbell. It's a bit larger than some of the others, but that is not an issue. The video and sound quality are very good! Installation was not a problem and I went with the wired option. If I were to use the battery option, I would want an external speaker of some type as I like an audible chime. It's taking a bit to get used to the Home app. I don't get many visitors, but I'm anxious to test the Familiar Face Detection. My only concern is how dirty this might get if it gets lots of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is what my house was missing! Really Really simple to install! From start to finish it was under 10 minutes. We connected it with our Google Nest Hub and now when anyone is at the door we get an alert and can see it through the nest hub, we now know who's at the door before opening it. We also get alerts when packages are delivered to house when we are at work! Not to mention the capability of being able to speak to whoever has come! It captures and stores images and video of who has come, which is a great security feature that I had really even thought of. I am so very pleased with the Google doorbell, it makes me wonder why I didn't get one sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so happy with our new Google Nest Doorbell! We are using the battery powered version and very impressed with how great it is working. It was super fast and easy to set up. In fact, the only issue we ran into is not having the hardware to install the device in our brick wall. So we just borrowed my Dad's drill and purchased a masonry drill bit which was only a couple bucks. We have it installed and set up on our Chromebook and cell phones and we can monitor our front porch anytime. The instructions are very easy to follow and other than waiting on the drill and drill bit, we had everything set up within a couple of minutes. The camera works great and the picture is crystal clear. Definitely better than any security video cameras I've seen before. The audio is also very crisp and clear on both sides. I can't say enough about how happy we are with the Google Nest Doorbell. Highly recommend!

My only complaint about it is that its included installation instructions aren't as good as others in its market segment... and the more detailed online instructions are buried under ads for other Nest products. Overall this is a good product and would be great in a household with other Google Nest products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The battery-powered Nest doorbell has be a welcomed addition to our home and helps provide the reassurance and security we were looking for with this product. Not only was it a breeze to install, but the navigation and utilization of the Google Home app is user-friendly as well. It is a bit larger than I originally expected, but I'm assuming this is due to it being the battery-powered version. It is not too much of a distraction and is perhaps more noticeable to my more minimalistic eye, as my husband is completely unbothered by the size. As an introvert who works from a home that receives a substantial amount of package deliveries to due my husband's work during the week, I love being able to check on the app to see if the ringing doorbell actually needs my attention or not. It helps keep the guesswork out of, “Should I answer the door or not?” The camera quality was better than expected and the additional features provided on the app help customize the experience as well (e.g., facial recognition, setting up specific detection zones, etc…). Since the doorbell was only recently set up, I'm not sure how long the battery will last before needing to be charged again, but so far, the Nest doorbell is a win in my book.

It was very easy to install the doorbell and the app. The camera on the doorbell has great clarity, and lets me see most of my front yard. The motion sensor is quite sensitive, but you can set it to your liking. You can also see the images very well in the dark. This Nest doorbell give me a good sense of security. I like the fact that you can answer through your phone,and you don't have to go to the door every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This batter powered Nest Doorbell is awesome! It can be wired or wireless installation. I used the wired method, so it rings my existing chime. Downloading the app let's you see and talk to whomever rings your doorbell. The app also lets you do some automation of snappy replies, when you busy or away. The installation was very easy, with quick-connect wire extensions and step-by-step instructions on the app.

With me and my moms sleeping upstairs this is so perfect for us we can see whos on the porch. We are going to go get one from the back door.
