[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this up a few weeks ago. I needed something to give a little extra security. This has been great. Easy to install. Easy to set up. The video/picture quality is excellent. I love this product.

Very easy integration with existing Google Home. Love being able to see live video on the Google Home display (but not history... that's only on the phone app for some reason). For some reason people don't seem to understand how to ring the doorbell. They are still rattling my screen door. And when they do ring the doorbell, half the time we don't get a notification. Battery has lasted about 2 weeks from fully charged. The unit is really large... maybe thats what is throwing everyone off. Video quality and sound are great.If I didn't use Google Home I probably would not go with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PROS: -App setup in the Google Home App, is easy the picture is clear and looks very good. You have he option to zoom in on objects, the viewing angles are great. Smart features are great I love the face recognition for people that stop by often. I can also record for people or things I don't recognize. I can also set up zones so I know what area I want to look at. CONS: Welp the biggest con me is that I live in an apartment complex. Installing it posed a big issue and I had to take the doorbell down. I went ahead and patched the small holes and painted over them so you can't tell it was ever attached to their wall. I looked online to find other alternatives and I thought I had found one. I ordered a device that can hold a video doorbell in a compartment that wraps around the door. Brilliant idea I ordered it but the nest was too big for the compartment. If it was a few inches smaller it would've worked perfectly. I researched a few more alternatives and I am going to try the heavy industrial removable sticky strips. This is only temporary as I am starting the home buying process. All in all it's a great produce that does exactly what it claims to do. I felt secure in my home the few days it was up and working. I enjoyed the smart features and just the sense of knowing who is at my door especially when I am not at home. No wire's now serious and damaging installation. It literally took me less than 8 minutes to install it on the side of my door. It took less than 5 to uninstall.

I'm not going to discuss the overall camera aspect because this is just regarding the battery but the picture view is good it's not crystal clear but it's good. The battery is rated to last 1.5 to 6 months depending on the frequency of usage eg. average number of daily events it records and other battery saver settings like video/audio quality and minimum event recording length. When the battery power is low, it will enter into a "low power" mode to conserve more battery until you charge the unit; to charge it, you'll need to take down the unit and plug it in via the included USB-C cable for ~5 hours

Unfortunately the plug is on the back so when charging it lays on the from. The lease sticks out just enough that if it moved across the surface it scratches it. Google just offers for you to buy another doorbell. :( So be mindful when charging ti lay it on it's side.

No surprise, but the setup through the Google Home app was straight forward and took 10 mins. It comes with everything you need to install it and use it on battery. If you want to wire the doorbell into your existing chime, that is an option, but the setup is significantly more complicated.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the privilege to try out the Nest Doorbell and Google has done it again. This product is really well built and solid and designed to be out in the elements. I love the fact that you can either use it battery powered or hard wired. It goes with my nest home and I'll be able to keep an eye on packages arriving at my door. We are moving soon so we'll be able to disassemble it and take it with us. The resolution is good and it will be highly used. I really recommend this product.

Replacing our static doorbell was super easy and the setup through Google Home was a piece of cake we even have other products in our house that work with the app we weren't even aware of. A super fun surprise! The camera quality is great and Overall we are very very happy with this product.

Our house does not have a wired doorbell and doesn't have easy access to pull a wire to the front entryway, so this was a perfect solution. I've got a little electrical experience but even without it this is an easy diy install for the majority of home owners. The quality of the build is good and the quality of the video is too. I'd definitely recommend it for anyone that wants a video doorbell without a wire install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Doorbell (battery) was very easy to set up. I charged it up like it said to do. Once charged I gathered everything that I needed and went outside to set it up. It took me maybe 10 mins. to set up, just because I had to make new holes to screw the screws in. Once I had those done I put the plate on the wall, then just popped the Nest Doorbell onto the plate and it was ready to go. I love being able to see who is at the front door before opening it, or not opening it. I love the fact that it alerts you when it senses movement. I do need to add the extended onto it, as you can see it does not get the entire front porch. I am really pleased with this so far. The only thing that I would like is to be able to change the notification sound on my phone to where it makes a different sound from my other notifications. If there is a way to do so, I have not figured that out yet. If you are looking for something like this for your home. This is what you are looking for. I would highly recommend you give it a try.
