We had our old mattress just about four years. After a few months. It became a nightmare. I didn't even want to go to sleep. We tried thick mattress pads. Both gel and foam. I purchased this bed on moving into a new apartment. It did not have any smell after opening, and the day after I got it, I fell asleep on it accidentally. It is quite comfortable for both sleeping and reading, and does not get too warm. I am pleased with my purchase.

My wife and I finally decided to replace our old spring mattress after we had to get rid of our boxspring when it wouldn't fit around a tight corner in a stairwell. Faced with the prospect of purchasing a new style of bed frame just for our old mattress that wasn't comfortable even after many mattress toppers and quilted mattress pads, we decided to make the plunge and invest in a mattress we didn't hate. After polling a number of friends who have purchased beds online, we figured out the things people didn't like and what to avoid. Researching different mattress reviews, we decided on the ghostbed because of cool sleeping, a firmer feel that you wouldn't sink into, and a fair amount of edge support and depth, despite being a foam mattress. Despite being foam, you really do not sink into the top of this mattress like traditional memory foam. The top layer is both cooling as advertised, and surprisingly supportive and even a bit bouncy. Despite initially finding the top a bit firm for my taste (although perfect in firmness for my wife's taste), as a side sleeper, my days of waking up stiff and with hip pain are gone. My husband and I did a lot of research on these type of mattresses. We decided on the ghostbed and it was the best choice we have ever made. I will admit that the first two nights were not the greatest but now I find that I'm not moving a lot while and I'm sleeping like a rock. Before purchasing this bed I read reviews stating that it is very firm. Im here to second that. Im a 200lb man, I sink into this bed comfortably, smaller individuals may not. All in all, I love this bed. No more hip or shoulder pain when I wake up. Also, the shredded foam pillows are great!

This mattress is absolutely the best EVER, I sleep like a baby every night, no stuff neck or back upon getting up the next morning. I feel as tho I am all bundled up on top of a cloud. This is the 2nd best decision I had ever made, only falling short to marrying my wife. We both absolutely love this amazingly AWESOME mattress!!!!

Love our mattress. We sleep so much better & don't wake up with our backs hurting every day. No regrets. We both wish we had gotten 4 pillows instead of just 2. 1 just is not enough for each of us. If you are thinking about getting this mattress, do not hesitate. Just do it.

Received the GhostBed within a couple days of ordering. We also ordered a foundation. Assembly for the foundation was relatively simple (my boyfriend and I watched a video for proper assembly). It fit on our bedframe with no issues. Opening and positioning the bed was easy as well, just heavy of course. I was a little apprehensive at first about ordering a bed that I wasn't able to lay on before purchasing, however the mattress is wonderful! I am 5'2'' and weigh 120 pounds, my boyfriend is 6'1'' and 230 pounds. We both have a lot of back issues and he was to the point with our old mattress he could hardly get out of bed. It took him a few nights of sleeping on the GhostBed to get used to it, now he's much better.

I was really excited to get my king size bed in, but I never expected to LOVE it as much as I do! Putting it together was a lot of fun, actually. There were lots of laughs and good memories made! First mattress that arrived came a little undersized, and the GhostBed team was great to work with and sent me a new one of the correct proportions, no hassle. Bed is very comfortable! No smell of packaging as I read in some other reviews. Would recommend.
