Our old toaster lasted 20 years. We splurged a replaced it with a $125 commercial restaurant quality, which we returned after a few days because it was so bad. Then we tried this toaster and we couldn't be happier. It toasts evenly on both sides. My husband set up the toaster at eye level to make it easy to monitor the color through the window. You can push a button to stop toasting and have the bread come up gently without launching it, as another reviewer mentioned.

My kids and I are enjoying watching the toast cook through the window. We like the wide opening fir our bagels too. Good quality toaster!

The pop-up spring in the toaster is so strong, the toaster may throw the toast on the table or floor - upon finishing toasting your bread..

I can't really rate the toaster. I bought it as a gift and was only able to get it to her yesterday. I hope she will try it soon.

OK, it works, but it's quite funny when it shoots the toast out of the top once toasted! I probably wouldn't recommend it to a neat-freak :)

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. 5 months later it broke, Sam’s Club did refund for it so 5 stars for Sam’s Club.

So far, the toaster works well overall. There seems to be a small hotspot/overdone on a small location of some toast but overall is working well.
