I've never had any leakage but they do get filled. I've tried other brands but these are more comfortable, the others sometimes fit too high waisted or bulky and show in my clothes, but these have felt more seamless even with good absorbency. They make me feel a lot more carefree in a pinch.

Item is cut too small for a XL. If it were little larger I would be perfect!
