While she says they "do what they do", she does not recommend them for overnight usage. The absorption level she deems as similar to a sanitary napkin, which will need to be changed frequently. I was worried they would not fit me being a size 22 jeans. But the xl did fit fine. While they do catch leakage just not very comfortable.
