I bought this when I heard it was 44 decibels in sleep mode. I thought it would be perfect until the compressor comes back on. Then it sounds like a jet engine starting up and the blower makes a lot of noise. This is in the middle of the night I had service come out and I am told this is how it works. So now I turn it on low and try to tolerate it. What a waste of extra money for it . Just buy a cheaper one

I bought this portable AC unit 3 years ago. It was used for only 2 summers and just now it won't work because of a refrigerant issue (error CH 38) which would cost more to fix than buy a new one. That's why these “1 year warranty” products should be avoided at ALL cost. Will NEVER buy an LG product again.

I like that you can choose fan speeds. The Sleep option is very convenient.

I've used dry/cool functions and both are good. Cool feature can be noisy though. It's good that I can control it through my smartphone.

Expensive but worth it! Easy to set up and operate. Cools my large bedroom in just a few minutes. So far very happy with the purchase.

Bought this at the beginning of summer. I have a house with an open floor plan 1152 square ft. And really took the edge off on those hot days!
