Our Favorite Tomato Basil soup that we'll keep on hand at all times. The texture of this soup is Perfecto! My husband, who is not a fan of tomato basil soup, just became one after eating this brand from Sam's Club and tells me to make sure we always have it for days he wants it, lol. Taste is very good. You don't need to add anything to it, just grilled cheese sandwiches on the side.

I did not like this at all. It's way too thick and chunky, more like a thick sauce than soup. I ended up salvaging it by straining it and adding milk. Straining it significantly reduced the volume, since it was pretty chunky. I won't buy this again.

I bought this soup as it looked like a tomato soup that Olive Garden sells--one container for me and one for an elderly neighbor, who are community takes care of. Neither I nor my neighbor (who is a Sams Club member) found this soup appetizing--very disappointed

I truly had high hopes for this soup. My husband and I love a good tomato basil soup. I did appreciate the freshness of the herbs and the slightly chunky consistency but that’s where the good points ended. It just tasted bitter and not creamy at all. I am almost wondering if we had a spoiled batch?

Not too terribly fond of this recipe. It has added SUGAR in it! What the heck?! Take the sugar out and it is a decent tomato basil soup, but I'd say it still needed some basil. I had to doctor it up with hot sauce so I could eat it. Much better is available elsewhere unless you just like it so sweet.

I love tomato basil soup but the canned is too sweet. I tried this and was pleasantly surprised. Although still a little sweeter than I'd like, it's the best I've had. I like to have it with a grilled cheese sandwich - white cheddar and pepper jack. Yummy.

I LOVE this soup! It’s, hands down, the BEST pre-packaged tomato soup I’ve tasted. I was so disappointed when Sam’s stopped carrying it in the spring. I see many others feel the same. I would buy this all year and hope Sam’s considers keeping it on the shelves.

I use to eat a lot outside but recent time decided to cook more at home and focus was more on salad and soup. This soup is easy to prepare and taste too good. One soup bowl alone is enough for couple of hours. I usually have it during lunch with sandwich or salad. Worth every single penny.

I’m not a huge soup person and I think a lot of that is growing up with campbells as the only real option. Not to knock it, but campbells tomato soup just isn’t for me, even just as a dip for a grilled cheese. This is SO good! It’s sweet but not overly so and there’s other flavors you can easily pick up on. A little confused by the servings, it says 7 per container and I would say it’s closer to 4-5 unless you’re predominantly feeding it to kids. Overall for the price, it’ll definitely end up as a staple for me.

Not sure if it was left out of the cooler at the store, but it was in date and smelled fine while preparing. I brought it home in ample time, and it was in date. It has a very fishy smell to me. I couldn’t even get through a bowl. The fishy smell and combination of chunks just threw me off.
