I had a new driveway put in and was looking for something safe to use. I have used this twice One bag did my whole driveway and my 90+ feet of sidewalk. A lot isn't needed but it does a great job melting and if tracked inside doesn't harm the carpets. I highly recommend this product.

I was pleased with this product because it worked quickly to melt the ice on the steps and sidewalk in front of my townhouse. It also continued to work over the hours which allowed my elderly and arthritic dog to go out without the threat of slipping. Good product!

This product is more than a surprise in how incredibly well it worked. Just took a chance and we well rewarded. First storm of the season was ice then inches of snow that could be snow blown off but still left snow covered ice. Second storm larger amount of snow - same scenario. From first to end of second storm, temps remained well below zero. After shoveling down to first layer of storms this ice melter gently softened the entire mess so it could be shoveled away before 3rd storm. Got lucky; very happy and Thank You WalMart for delivering it!

I ordered with shipping directly to the store. They shipped it in a bag, which broke on the way. Really poor service, I expected better packaging from such a big company.

I got this because it is pet friendly. I also carry it in my truck because the parking lot at work can be treacherous. This way I can sprinkle some down and not be in fear of slipping when getting in and out of my vehicle in bad weather.

I was glad to find a safer ice melt because I have not seen it when going to any big chain stores. I would never use an ice melt that my dog cannot walk on and I wish other people would do the same thing.

This ice melt is the best. It seems to act as a barrier between the ice and the sidewalk to prevent refreezing. Shared some with a friend. I will not go back to the other types of ice melts.I have already ordered another 50# .

Chose this one because it's supposed to not harm animals, and not harsh on the concrete driveways and walkways. Seems to work good... Used it this past week after snow and then freezing rain. Started working instantly like it claims.

coarse salt large size chunks. Does not work well on ice at -10C. large chunks of coarse salt causes holes on ice without broad effects when using smaller grains. very innefficient.
