We really liked the John Soules Chicken and reommended to friends who also liked it. However, everyone is disappointed with the beef. The flavor is not like good fajita beef. We gave it a second try and still didn't like it even trying to add other spices. We bought several packages of chicken, but will not purchase beef again.

Inconsistent quality in each fajita with multiple pieces of non-chewable gristle, which really disappointed us. We won’t be buying this again! Some pieces were indeed tender, but the others weren’t and made all of us say we are going back to homemade fajitas.

I rarely expend the time to review food. I just assume it wasn't to my taste and won't buy again. this item is an exception. it advertises as angus beef, and maybe it is, but I would be concerned to know what part of the cow it came from. the description on tge label seemed straightforward enough I felt I could reasonably predict what I'd be getting. the best things I can say are...I didn't get food poisoning and tge flavor wasn't entirely offensive. the texture was so off (I rewarmed it according to the skillet direction), despite its shape, I'm not certain it was strips of beef; maybe pressed beef. it was chewy in a way that was unfamiliar. not grizzle, not fat; overall unpleasant and hard to define. I added very little seasoning because it is preseasoned with fajita spices but found it mostly flavorless. in fact,the composition of the meat seemed to render it incapable of retaining flavor. I didn't find the price objectionable...until I ate it. like something intended for your pet, that you wouldn't feed your pet. sory to be so harsh, and of course, my opinion is subjective, but if you think this is a good choice for an easy, savory dinner to feed your family, I imagine you'll be underwhelmed, at best. I suggest you make your own.

The entire line of John Soules fully cooked products are simply superior in the quality of the meats and the delectable seasoning. The beef fajitas line, like all of their pre-cooked offerings, make having taco Tuesday a breeze! I also use the fajita beef in non-Mexican style meals like beef and broccoli.

I didnt like the texture of the meat. I microwaved some naked, pan fried some with sauce, and even ate some cold right out of the bag. Each time the meat was not a pleasent texture. The flavor was decent enough, but the texture felt like the meat had been frozen and thawed multiple times.

Great to have for a quick meal. I add onions, green peppers and frozen beef and season with coconut aminos in a iron skillet. Cover until heated through, stirring so it cooks vegetables evenly. You can also add other veggies such as cut carrots and broccoli to the mix.

With having a busy schedule, I am pleased with this purchase because it ended up being a tasty time saver. I am a person who buys fresh grass fed beef and nothing frozen. Even though I plan to shop the same, I am glad that I came across this meat. The meat was easy to chew and digest. It wasn’t tough and it was easy to cook with. I used the meat breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Used it for steak and eggs, steak omelette, steak salad, steak quesadillas, steak tacos, and much more. Since it was already cooked and flavored, it was easy to make meals on-the-go. I would purchase again because my kiddos liked them so much.

I had seen these advertised on TV but had not been able to find. When I saw them at Sam's I purchased. They are great. They have a good flavor, the receips are good. They are great on a salad. My only caution is they come fully cooked, donot over cook. Did I mention they are GREAT!

Meat tenderized with bromaline or bromalic acid breaks down proteins quickly and can make meat chewy, like in this case. The seasoning was good and peppery but overall it was not a good quick meal and nobody enjoyed it. Kind of embarrassing to feed teen boys and friends food that they only ate politely. I would not buy again or recommend.
