At 175000 miles and 106000 miles on the tires, I am wondering if they are ever going to wear out? Light hauling, highway miles,some trailering. Great all season tire .Best I have ever owned. Thank You Michelin Man

Great performance, smooth riding, quiet tires, very comfortable ride. Installation was a bit pricey,I need 5 new ones on my SUV now. Yes,I recommend these tires.

With the new Defenders my ride has been excellent and I expect the wear will be the same as the old ones. Alignment has been completed regularly and rotated ever 5000 miles.

These tires have done their job for the last five years in a commendable fashion. In addition to no problems with them, the fuel economy, smoothness, and braking are so good that I have no complaints at all. I'm replacing them with another set after 75,000 blessedly uneventful miles.

Most tires have peaks in performance in certain areas at the sacrifice of others. Not this tire, it is a good all-rounder and a solid performer no matter the conditions. Essentially it's like switching from nice and smooth ride to one in which you feel every vibration and bump on steering wheel. 1. The tires are louder than expected based on reviews. 2. I keep feeling vibration, even at very low speeds. The person in tire place checked and says everything looks right. It started with tire change so it is definitely tires not anything else in car. So this is definitely not comfortable drive tire. Probably good for trucks, but not other cars.

Happy New Year really takes on a wonderful meaning this year..Thanks again little guy!~!!

I went back to the M/S tires I had on our chevy blazer and they are GREAT!!! really provide smooth ride and handling in all conditions just as they did on the blazer!!

Went back to place of purchase. They rebalanced. Did not help issue. Went back second time. They rebalanced again. Because I was so unhappy with tires, they replaced two of them. I still have the rough ride and vibration. I personnel think the back are bad tires. Would not purchase this tire again.

First set ran over 80,000 miles and had enough tread left for another 20.000. Over the years, I have bought Michelin tires several times. I would not buy any other manufacturer. I am looking forward to many more miles on my Michelin tires.
Long Lasting High Mileage Tire

They handle grrreat and they are lasting a long time. I keep the truck well service for allingmnents and rotation of them. Hardly any wear shown on these tires.

I had purchased a set of bf all terrains for my 2500 before these and they lasted 25k , the defenders have 65k on them and are still about 70 percent tread left. I will never go back to anything but Michelin, they are by far the best on the market for any make or model of vehicle. Also I run them all year round and find them just as good as snow tires on the trucks, I run x ice xi2 on the van and it is remarkable how good they are. I hope anyone that is trying to decide what to buy. Please spend a little more money and buy Michelins you will not regret it! Thank you Michelin for creating such a great product that I can trust and depend on every day.

I traded it in still with the original tires on it at 91,000 miles in 2010. The same tires came on my 2010 Ridgeline. I just replaced those original tires after 101,000 miles. I bet you can guess what I replaced them with. Well worth a couple extra bucks for an extra 40,000 miles or so from competitor tires. A great product!!!

They are wearing very well and still have a lot of tread on them. The wet weather grip is excellent, a big plus for me. A lot of tires may grip well in dry weather. The tire that grips well in wet conditions is the one I need, and the Michelins come through like the true winner they are when the conditions are nasty outside. The handling is very good too. I would definitely buy another set of these. I recommended them to my son and he put a set on his vehicle. He is very pleased with them as well. A great all around tire.
