- 5 out of 5 stars review8/14/2013Living in NJ with all the quick changes in temperature & weather, I have had all brands of tires on my trucks & vehicles and these tires are the best. They hold the road in rain, snow or windy conditions. I have even talked my friends & co-workers into buying them. So all I can say is "Buy the best & forget the rest"

I may replace them before winter, but there is still good tread remaining, and the sidewalls look like new! They are quiet, reliable, and good looking.

For the past 12 years I have not run anything but Michelen tires on my vehicle. I am on long road trips in my job and I love the quite smooth ride I get from my Michelen tires. when I go in the rough with the 4 wheel drive I have no problem with traction in mud or snow . I live in the Ozark mountains and all of the back roads I travel or flint rock gravel and I have never had a sliver punture my Michelen tires.

I also needed higher load rating tires than the stock ones I was rolling on. The Michelins were like nirvana...very quiet and smooth on the road...like buttah, baby! They are wearing very well,too. So, I am going to put a set on my Durango next. Great tire!

Big Papa2Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/4/2021The best tires money can buy, I replaced factory tires Bridgestone with only 3,000 miles on them because I had two flats and then after a rotation developed a vibration I could not get rid of, put the Michelins on an no problem and all the other problems went away, plus I know with winter coming and wet weather the Michelins will be much safer on the road. I have them on all three of my vehicles.

I've bought Michelins for the last 23 yrs , a new set about every 14-15 months. These Defenders are worse tires ever , VERY bad ride , I always bought Michelin for the soft ride and road handling. But never another set of Defenders. If the didn't cost so much I would change them out now.

I average 35,000 to 40,000 miles a year on each of 3 pickup trucks and need a tire I can feel confidante in to give me good tread life, a smooth ride and good traction in bad weather. I have tried other brands of tires over the years but I like the Michelin the best for the long haul.. And yes I have friends that now like that tire also.

After struggles with other brands, I now understand the value Michelin provides. No more slipping in the wet. No more early wear issues. No more worrying about safety and early replacements. Thank goodness Honda chose these Michelins as standard equipment. I won't question the cost of replacing other brands with Michelin again. It's worth a bit more to have the confidence to drive like you mean it.

Even though we also own a 2012 Ford Explorer, we always drive the older Tahoe on trips because the Explorer came with another brand of tires that assure we hear and feel every crack in the highway. My Michelins are smooth and quiet, and they make my wife and I feel safer when driving in rain. At age 67, I have tried many different brands of tires over the years and have learned the hard way that when it comes to buying tires, it is not only wise to buy the best, but the extra long tread life makes it the best economic decision as well. Love my Michelins!!!

Some of the ride was on I-40, perhaps the worst interstate in the system. But the tires smoothed the ride as much as could be expected. I wish all the money from hiway taxes went into roads for cars instead of bike lanes and squirrel sanctuaries.

I have driven 18,500 miles since my purchase and the wear bars have already shown on two of the tires and the other two tires are close behind. This is only with highway driving. I'm very disappointed with the reliability/wear of my Michelin Premier LTX tires. Needless to say, these tires have shown excessive wear.

Definitely not much left on them so it was nice to replace. Went on three trips already with heavy rains and winds, performed great. Great ride, great traction.

Put these on my F250 truck to replace previous LTX/MS tires since these were no longer available and the new Defender line was touted as soooo much better. Immediately these tires shook my vehicle as though they were unbalanced. I had them rechecked for and they were properly balanced. Secondly, these tires also vibrate on paved roads as if they were knobby style tires or if the lug nuts were loose. They make it seem as though something is wrong with my vehicle.I hate these tires and now I'm stuck with them. I have less than 1000 miles on them.Not up to the quality of what Michelin has previously stood for.
Very Dissappointed in these tires! Horrible Vibrations!

I usually get 55 to 60 thousand miles out of a set. the sure grip in the florida rain. most reliable tire on the road. just bought another set about a month ago. Michelin tires are all I will run on my vehicles. I don't go off road, but we do road trips a lot. I especially like the temperature rating, they stay pretty cool, even after long distance on the interstates.

Great in snow, wet, dry conditions. Very secure on the road. Quiet! Low rolling friction which has increased gas mileage by 1 to 1 1/2 mpg. I expect to get 70K + tread wear.

The Michelin LTX MS tires hold up exceptionally. I drive highway miles as well as this road. I put on about 16,000 miles a year. The gravel road has a reputation for eating up tires. The Michelins have endured without any problem. I am very pleased with this product.

These tires are great in the slush and snow of upstate New York. I have great confidence driving in 4x4 with my LTX tires. They are well worth the money except i wish they did not wear so fast. Not a great a ride on the highway as the Cross Terrian tires i previously had.

The last set of Michelin tires I had I got over 125,000 miles out of them. I bought a new set and gave the tires I replaced to someone and they used them for close to a year. I would never buy another brand of tire! I think Michelin has always been the tire company that is always thought of as #1. I have heard tire salesmen say " this tire is almost like a Michelin" That speaks volumes. I look forward to buying my next set of Michelin tires. Though it may be a long while. James
