- 5 out of 5 stars review9/26/2025I really like these tires. I had these on my last pickup before I traded it in and they ride nice. Very quiet and are great in rain! I ended up with 60k miles on mine before o traded truck and they still weren't at the tread depth warning

At first, I was concerned that these tires would be too noisy or reduce fuel economy too much on my 2013 RAV 4. Totally unfounded!! These seem to be great tires here in snow country! The rubber compound seems soft and tacky in the cold temps, and seems to grip the roadways better. Braking in snowy/icy conditions feels strong and I just plowed thru 9" fresh snow confidently They give me a soft, comfortable ride on the hiway. I am totally pleased with my purchase so far (about 1500 miles on them) and plan to put a set on our Honda CRV.

They have been thru heavy rain, snow, ice and handle well. The tread wear is even and I keep tabs on the tire pressure. I know I need to replace soon and will probably get the same ones. Hoping the prices come down...

The last 3 or 4 sets of michelin tires have taken me down the road at least 60,000 miles and up to 80,000. I expect this new set to last 80,000 plus miles. Thank you very much !

The original LTX M/S2 tires were the best tire I ever owned and what made me a Michelin customer. These new Defenders may look like the old design, but are clearly inferior.

I almost didn't buy them because of reviews saying that they are noisy and have poor ride quality. I am glad that I didn't believe those reviews. These tires are as quiet as my old Latitudes and give me a good ride, plus I get the 70,000 mile warranty instead of 55,000 miles. Having the tires for only a few days, I haven't tried the in snow yet, but they have a good tread design to give good traction. I am very pleased with my decision to buy the Defender.

The tires we had on our other vehicles were wearing out and dry rotted within the 1st year of having them. We were replacing them all the time and theses Michelin tires kept on going and going like the energizer bunny. So we said enough is enough and we replaced the rest of the cars with Michelin tires too. Lets just say the tires out lived the cars. So now that is the only tire we look at and will buy. And we will make sure our kids do the samething. So what ever you are putting in that tire Michelin don't change a thing, it is perfect.

You can buy a cheaper tire, but you would have to buy two sets of the cheaper tires to get the same mileage as one set of these michelins. Smooth, quiet ride just adds to the value of these tires. I won't own anything else.

Based on the tread depth left, I should get approximately 90,000 miles on this set. I have Michelin Tires on all of my vehicles and would not use any other brand of tires. I have been buying Michelin tires for over 25 years, and I have never been dissatisfied.

The Defender’s have a more comfortable ride and better traction, particularly in the rain. This Michelin was a significant upgrade.
