This is kind of loud, when it closes it makes a noise.. it’s hard to get the insert in and out to replace or remove the trash bag. It is nicely made and it fingerprint resistant and easy to clean. Sometimes unless you are really ready to take the time to fix it, the trash can bag overlaps and can be seen from the outside. It suits its purpose but if it was up to me I wouldn’t buy it again, for the price it is ok. Sams was quick to ship and it was carefully packaged.

This garbage can is not as sturdy as my last can and u wish it would have been displayed out of the box so I could actually look and try it out before buying because I would not have bought it. When step on the pedal the lid flys open and takes a long time to close. My last can had a lock to keep lid open while peeling potatoes or u just needed to keep it open but not this one. I just expected more for $60 I guess

Buyers beware…. I bought this trash can in November of 2025. The lid has rusted terribly! It was supposed to have a lifetime warranty. Here is the reply I received on the warranty Our lifetime warranty covers products to be free of any manufacturing defects at the time of purchase. However, it does not cover wear and tear, overheating, chipping, pitting, rusting, breaking, shattering, sticking, cracking, warping, structural distress, and/or scratches in the coating.

This won’t last long. The material is poor quality and metal thin so easily dented. Also shows every finger print and even when wiped leaves marks.

Beautiful color , love how the lid the softly , slowly closes. Large inner basket . Only draw back is that the color scratches off easily

Great trash can for the price. Looked on Amazon first then Sam’s and they beat the prices and it’s good quality.

Nice trash can but it's black not charcoal gray. There must be lighting impacting the picture colors because I thought it would be more black stainless. This is black.

NOT scratch resistant. I purchased this in charcoal, and within a week, the top is so scratched that it looks terrible. Every other aspect is great- smooth closing lid, nice size, and I like the removable liner bin- but I would not buy it again.

the trash can seemed well designed and it lasted is for a few years but the design flaw is the pedal. the stupid thing is made of thin plastic with a metal cover. so of course it broke from stepping on it over and over and over again. I don't know why it's not made entirely metal.

The design is great. Easy to get the bag in and out, which is my biggest critique of most trash cans. The last can we had was some kind of engineering joke, basically a chinese fingertrap adapted to a trash can. This can is fantastic in comparison. There are two pitfalls I've seen in my 1 day of ownership: 1 - It scratches/scuffs easily and also shows fingerprints like nothing I've owned before. 2 - It is not properly packaged for shipping. I had to buy this twice - the first one showed up completely crushed and unrecognizable despite the outer box appearing undamaged. This is because the box has almost no reinforcements. Both cans showed up with significant scuff marks from movement within the packaging. If I were rating them on packaging... it would be bad. If I thought it would stay scuff free in our house, I'd return this one, too -- but, based on what it looked like after I tried to rub the scuff off with some stainless appliance cleaner and a very soft kitchen rag -- I'd say these are just very scratch/scuff prone. If scuffs, scratches, or fingerprints are going to be a thing that bothers you - I'd probably look at a different color or can.
