Bought a few weeks ago based on recommendations for winter weather handling. Last 4 inch snow, temperatures around 0F where roads tend to not be as slick - sliding on a low speed curve. Kicked sideways by 6-8 inch drifts elsewhere. I'd rate winter traction as poor.

Vehicle - 2022 Lexus RX 350L. I replaced the Bridgestone ecopia OEM tires at 35k miles due to wear (they are 55k tires) with Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires after considerable research. I have had Michelin tires on a number of vehicles over the years, and apart from a set of Primacy tires, I have always been pleased. While the Crossclimate 2 tires had great traction, especially when wet, there were two serious problems with them. Immediately noticeable was that they did not track well, and needed constant correction on the highway, and it almost seemed that the power steering was increased. But the major problem was with gas mileage. Probably a 15-20% drop in mileage which meant range dropping from about 440 to 385 per tank-full I'm changing to another brand this week. Disappointing after doing what I thought was some extensive research. Reading other reviews and postings on forums, this seems to be a common problem.

Purchased a set for my wife's 2019 Pacifica (245/50R20) about a month ago. They have really impressed on the dry and wet. As we live in Northern Illinois we will soon get to see just how good they are in winter conditions. I have seen a lot on their capabilities in snow, just wondering about ice. So far we are loving this tire, much better than the OEM Falken's that came on the vehicle.

Love the feel of the ride. Haven't had them long enough to know how they do in bad weather. I was somewhat hesitant to buy them because the set of Michelins that came on my car only lasted 36,000 miles. These tires have a longer warranty. I don't know if new cars come with a lower quality tire or not. A friend of mine had to replace his Michelin tires at 39,000 miles. Hoping for the best!

Bought these tires a week ago and it has rained ever since. Traction is great. Had to stop at a light on a hill, the car in front of me spun his tires when the light turned green, I got going right away. Quieter ride than previous OEM tires. Liking these tires so far

We purchased these tires for our Audi Q5 3.0T several months back and couldn't be happier. Prior to these, I wasn't able to drive faster than 50 mph in the rain as the suv would hydroplane nonstop. Scary!! My husband came across these and decided to take a chance on them. Not only did the hydroplaning stop, the vehicle rides better than it ever has. Additionally, we just had a major snow storm today (first since having these bad boys) and I was able to drive it like it wasn't even snowing. I was also able to get up hills that other vehicles were stuck on without any issues at all. Hands down the best tires in the snow I have ever ever had. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Not sure what they want.

Excellent grip (accelerating and braking) and ride in all conditions. First road trip MN->SD this past summer was a pleasure on both dry and wet roads. Recently had a 20” snowfall this winter and again was very pleased with all aspects of the tires.

Tire was losing air .Employee showed me that my tires had some dry rot. Personally I did not think the tires looked bad. But winter was coming around the bend so I thought maybe I should replace them. Well, what a much smoother ride. So happy I had gotten them.

I"ve had these tires on my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan R/T for over year and I am thouroughly impressed, our last set of snow rated tires were great in the snow, but if the pavement was wet they would spin like it was icy. These CrossClimate 2's handle all weather conditions much better than any previous tire I've tried. I liked them So much I bought a set for my AWD Subaru. We recently purchased a GMC Acadia AWD and that will get a set as well when it needs tires. Wear so far has been exceptional.

I had my parents put these CrossClimate2's on my mother's Ford Escape and I'm convinced they're the absolute best choice for the one's you love. I know if she's encountering poor conditions on the road, that she's got the best ability to stop and get going compared to anyone else. I've driven it multiple times myself and ridden passenger multiple times also. These tires are extremely quiet and the ride is much improved. My father liked the CrossClimate2's so much he's switched from his previous Defenders on his Van to the CrossClimate2s. If you encounter poor weather fairly often, these *are the tires for you*. I'm rocking my own PilotSports and we're just one happy Michelin family now. I don't often go out of my way for brands like this but I feel we actively stake our lives on these tires every time we choose to drive and I only settle for the best, Michelin.
