I bought a set of these tires for my 2014 VW Jetta TDI a few months ago. I just got them rotated for the first time around 5,000 miles and still loving them. They provide a very smooth ride. There is also very little road noise from these tires. My favorite thing about these tires is their sporty look as compared to other tire options in this size.   These are my second set of General tires. I also put a set on my Toyota 4runner, and the tires were great for that vehicle too. These tires are very high quality for the affordable price you pay.

Nearly 10,000 miles and still rides better than my original honda civic si tires. Not very noisy but not quiet either. Didn't notice during the cold months when beginning my travel any tire cold flat spots(smooth riding). Again overall a very good tire and handles well during the rainy days.

I have a performance model Mercedes Benz C280 Sport and it requires tires that match the performance. This tire was specifically mentioned for my car. I narrowed it down between the General G-Max AS-05 and another recommended for car, made by Michelin. I did a lot of homework. I am familiar with Michelin and have been sold on them for years, but I was intrigued to try the AS-05 after reading a ton of material on it as well as having a positive experience with another set of Generals I had bought the year before. I am very, very happy with my decision and these tires perform! They ran less per tire than the Michelin, but Michelin loves their price premiums. This tires is well designed, runs quiet, and sticks to the road. I could not be happier. I recently recommended them to friends with a pristine 1998 BMW M3 and they are ecstatic with the performance. I am now a total believer in General Tires and will be buying from them in future.

This is a great tire to replace your Micheline's.  I went to 255/35/18 and I can really feel better grip and handling.  I also get better rim protection because the tire is now a little wider than than the rim. I took one star of because they are definitely louder than the original Micheline tires that came with it.  The car is already kinda loud when going 75 so I don't really mind.

I purchased the first set and had to have them all replaced because they were defective. The second set that were replaced by supplier has a defective tire but since they ""road force"" tested these I cannot get the 2 that are bad replaced. I don't think I'll be buying general tires again .

Purchased these 10 months ago for a Dodge Charger Pursuit. 245/55R18 size, police 18" wheels. This car has been modified as a do it all performance car. It's supercharged, and custom tuned. It's used for drag racing, commuting, a comfortable trip car, and open road racing. It's done two Silver State events with no issues at speeds up to 140 MPH sustained. 120 MPH average for 90 miles at a time. These have been great overall tires, and we now have 9000 miles on them to rate them. These are a W rated tire (168mph) and will pass tech into the next division. Very stable at speed doing the closed course stuff. I trust these with me and my wife (navigator).

I put these on my two Saab 9-5 Aeros, one has covered about 11000 miles, the other 6000 miles.  Just coming out of a Michigan winter and am very satisfied so far.  Traction and grip are very good, fast cornering is sure footed.  Snow and ice performance was acceptable.  I will buy these again if the expected  lifetime is met without the characteristics deteriorating too much.

After 6 months and 7000 miles these tires still lookand perform as new.  There were some comments on noise when looking at reviews prior to purchase but I have not had that experience.  The aggressive tread panel and clean sidewall make these a great looking high performance tire thay accesnts the look of my custom car.

Bought this tire about 6 months ago for my Fiat 500 Abarth and I'm satisfied with it. I drive it like it's a go-kart often. The tires have good grip, even wear, good ride. They do get a bit noisy of you don't rotate often. Later time I checked I was at 7/32

I replaced the OEM Michelin tires with the G-Max AS 05 40k miles ago.  I was a bit leery about putting this type of tires on a Ford C-Max and not replacing the OEM tires with a tire designed for high mileage.  Turns out the mileage didn't change much at all.  But the handling improved a lot.  So when it was time to replace them, I got the G-Max AS 05 again.
