Needed to replace the tires on my BMW Z3 Roadster and was considering a more expensive tire.  After talking with the salesman, I decided to try the General AS-05. Not only was it a great price, they had a rebate offer to go along with it.  One of the best choices I have made in a long time.  I cannot say enough about how well this tire has preformed.  I have had them for 2-3 months and am thrilled at the way they have preformed on the road.  No mushy feeling, no fishtailing.  When they need replacing I will definitely be getting another set.

noticed a sidewall bubble on both of my pirelli scorpion verde front tires. my local tire shop did not have an exact match and i needed them that day for a long trip.  they recommended the general as-05 i purchased all 4 and faced freezing rain, heavy rain and snow for 8 hours. i've had my car 10 years and these are the best tires. when i returned i had my other car fitted with the same tires.

I bought these at the suggestion of a Ford service mechanic. You can't beat the price, but right when I started driving them, they started to vibrate quite a bit. I'm usually a Michelin guy and never had this issue with those. However, the vibration has gone down significantly, but not completely gone. All in all, these are great tires for the price, but not top-tier like Michelin. If you've got the money, spend it on the top-tier...if not, these are a great option.

I've put about 7000 miles on these tires and I'm extremely happy with my purchase.  Fantastic wet and try traction. Fairly quiet and comfortable ride.  Amazing handling.  Good treadwear so far.  My only complaint is my gas mileage is slightly less compared to my previous tires (about 1 MPG).  They look good too.

Bought these to replace the factory summer tires on my RS Camaro. Was looking for good all seat replacements and these tires are incredible!! Great summer performance and looking forward to colder winter performance as well. Even people in the industry said these are a great tire at any price.

I bought these tires for my 2016 Mazda 6. These tires are quieter and ride softer than the stock tires. They also have superior steering feel and grip in the rain and dry conditions. I have not tried them in the snow yet. The only drawback is that my fuel economy has dropped by 1/2 an mpg but this is worth the increased performance and comfort.

Bought these based on specs and tire pattern.  2005 Acura TL had only been driven with Michelins until these were put on in August.  10k miles later and the verdict is in.  These are far superior to Michelins.  Held firm in snow and ice.  Can't find anything wrong with this tire.  Tread wear excellent.  Price excellent.  Tried to get previous version at a ridiculously low price.  It was closed out and oversold by retailer so I got these and they definately did not disappoint.

I bought these tires in August and have gone through a michigan winter with them . I know snow tires are better for winter then all seasons but here in mid michigan the snow and ice don't stick around long enough to warrant dedicated snow tires . I am happy to report the G Max's performed in the snow and ice better then expected . I tried these tires as replacements for the BF Goodrich Gforce comp 2-as tires had previously . I loved the grip of the comp 2's but wanted to find something with a little smoother ride . These G Max tires are far smoother and quieter then the Comp 2's  even though they only offer about 8.5/10ths of the grip of the Comp 2's . The tread is lasting longer on the G Max's then the Comp 2's  did . The price of the G Max's and the overall improved ride quality I feel offers a fair trade off for the slight loss of overall grip compared to the Comp 2's . Great all around performance tire for my daily driver.

I bought these tires about 3 months ago for my 03 mustang. So far have been very pleased. Good traction dry and wet pavement. Really hoping they keep the traction their whole life, unlike some other brands. Have had issues with other brands rubber compound getting harder as the tires wear down, causing lose of wet traction.

Had these installed on my 06 Solstice, as recommended by tire rack. Have not driven to many miles so far, but happy with tires. Good traction, quiet, nice ride. I have had General tires on other vehicles and have never had any problems with any of them.
