Way better than the street mini hoops. The street hoops chain net always broke. This holds up very well.

The backboard completely broke on my 8 year old. Poorly made. Would not recommend for kids.

Very flimsy back board

Got this for my 11 year old son when we redecorated his bedroom to a "SPORTS" theme. He loves it! Sturdy, authentic looking hoop. Easy to install over-the-door mount. Very happy with purchase. Only down side is that it's kind of loud with the ball that's included; can hear it all over the house when he's shooting. If noise is an issue, you might want to get a foam ball to go with it.

This basketball hoop is MUCH sturdier than ones we have had in the past and I am anticipating it lasting much longer due to its heavy duty construction. When my teenage son and his friends dunk the ball the breakaway rim works perfectly and allows them to continue on with their game as if they were on a real court! The whole family has had fun and it definitely appeals to all ages.
