It was ready to use right out of box, time and date was already set, battery was already installed so was easy to get started. It came with easy to read directions , black case to hold it and make it easy to carry it in your purse, has small booklet to keep list of dates and results. Easy to read the numbers are nice and large. Blood strips are easy to put in and take out too. We tested it on everyone in house to Make sure we all got different readings we wanted to make sure it was accurate and we all did .

Came with everything you need to get started and has now replaced my old one as my favorite. Definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to replace an old one or is purchasing for the first time. You will not be disappointed!

With the new meter I can use or keep in my emergency kit as well but I actually likes it more than my current meter. It came with a spare battery and really cute/discreet carrying case that fits nicely into my bag. So far no issues with the product. Would highly recommend and would buy.

I got this free at my pharmacy, I think it should be at any one considering the box says "not for retail sale." It works pretty well. The lancet pen gets stuck a little bit, but its okay. Its still a bit confusing to me but directions are straight forward enough. Its pretty cheap, thought these were a bit more expensive. Its accurate, and a viable option if you are strapped for cash or just don't want to shell out a ton of cash on something with 2 more features. (P.s. Read ALL directions before you start, control solution readings are on the test strip bottle not in the pamphlet.)

Easy to follow instructions and easy to read results. Very straight forward device, and provides the insight that I need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]  TRUE METRIX - Self Monitoring Blood Glucose Meter no need to turn on, its does as soon as you slip the test strip into the slot the meter will display a series of numbers and then it will read your strip. If the meter displays an E and a number then there is a problem. If the meter does not beep and display numbers when the strip is inserted then there is a problem. True metrix is a great product, works well, and easy to mange. Large numbers on the screen, doesn't need alot of blood to find out your results, and stores your readings. I would recommend this to family and friends

It has a large digital read out, makes it a breeze to quickly see a reading to get on with your day. The finger poke on this device was about the same I have experienced with other meters.

And like many, I've had several different blood glucose meters, but none compare to the ease and accuracy of the TRUE METRIX self monitoring glucose meter. The readings are accuracy, large fonted and easy to understand. There's no doubt in my mind that it's portability will help millions of individuals have an easier time caring for themselves like TRUE METRIX cares.
