[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This True Metrix blood glucose meter is one of the best ones that I have ever used! It was easy to set up.The control solution was easy to use. I had no problems using the lancing device along with the lancets. I was able to get a good amount of blood to use for the testing strips. I had no problem with my readings. I usually test my blood sugars after each meal. It’s usually three times a day. The instructions were very easy to read. I like the fact that the 3 volt battery was installed. The True Metrix blood glucose meter fits good in the palm of my hands. I am able to get a good grip. The device is a perfect size and weight. I would highly recommend this device. The pros of this device is that it is very affordable. It is of great quality. It works wonderful! The cons are none for me! I highly recommend this blood testing device!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It did work well with a small drop of blood and gave consistant results same as my old glucose meter. The screen is nice and big for clarity. My dad likes this a lot as he has poor vision and unable to read smaller screen numbers. I got accurate results beore and after my food intake. I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really handy little glucose blood meter because it's compact. The first thing I noticed was the packaging was done really nicely. It includes everything you need to take a sample of your blood and read it. You get the glucose monitor itself they also include a Lancet pack and the finger pricker called true draw. They use really fine lancets so your finger doesn't hurt as much compared to other brands. That's really important for me as a type 2 diabetic Warrior. It also has a convenient carrying case and solution to clean the device when needed on the inside where the strips go. They give you a sample set of 10 strips which is nice so you can test it out accurately and you can purchase these strips widely at pretty much every Pharmacy you can think of so that's good for convenience sake. Results appear to be accurate as I've used several others I even tested this against a few I have at home and it appears to be more accurate to one of the sensors that I have in my arm against one of the other glucose monitors that I use. Granted I know they said each monitor is different and you will not get the same results from each but this is important for me to know how closely the accuracy is because that could mean taking more or less insulin so that is key. It appears to be a really great system that I was able to test a couple of times to get a feel for it and it's pocketable in that you can slide it into a pocket a book bag or if you have a diabetes supplies bag this will be right at home you also get a carrying pouch that you can store your supplies in easily. For me this took about 10 to 15 seconds it says it can be as fast as 4 seconds and it doesn't require a lot of blood which is great you can also store 500 results with time and date and it doesn't require any real programming of the device or calibration it also has a stripper release button and download capabilities and you can tag events such as before meal after meal exercise sick medication and others. This is definitely one that I would highly consider if I was in the market for one and I will continue to use this if I get more strips, highly recommend this as I was impressed with all that it has. It was definitely consideration in every area from the rounded Corners when holding the device that makes it easy to fit in the hand to the large display and easy readability. It also has grips on the bottom of the monitor so that it doesn't slide which is a clear design choice that shows they put effort into every aspect of this device.

It has a large digital read out, makes it a breeze to quickly see a reading to get on with your day. The finger poke on this device was about the same I have experienced with other meters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really am liking my TRUE METRIX GLUCOSE METER!! It is so easy to check my glucose. It came with a very nice carrying bag to keep all products together. I checked my glucose and got my results fast. It is very easy to use.

I definitely reccomend true metrix. It works great and your readings are easy to read. I love the fact that you can go back and read your numbers. A must buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this meter but being a Type 1 diabetic there were not the advanced features I am looking for. If you need a basic meter for occasional checking of your glucose levels this would work fine. The display is large and easy to read however I did find the test strips to be small and difficult to handle especially if I am shaking from my occasional lows. This has some good features but for my personal needs I really need a meter with wifi capabilities.
