I got this free at my pharmacy, I think it should be at any one considering the box says "not for retail sale." It works pretty well. The lancet pen gets stuck a little bit, but its okay. Its still a bit confusing to me but directions are straight forward enough. Its pretty cheap, thought these were a bit more expensive. Its accurate, and a viable option if you are strapped for cash or just don't want to shell out a ton of cash on something with 2 more features. (P.s. Read ALL directions before you start, control solution readings are on the test strip bottle not in the pamphlet.)

The instruction booklet is very detailed and makes understanding how to use the meter and read the results very easy. The meter itself is very easy to use and delivers quick results. The carrying case that came with it is roomy enough to hold the meter, vial of test strips, lancet device, lancets, and a bottle of control solution, all while maintaining a slim profile that makes it easy to carry in my purse.

Just big enough so it is easy to hold, but small enough that it fits in your hand comfortably. The strips are very easy to insert in the bottom of the meter. It reads quickly and the numbers are large enough for easy reading. I like the memory feature in case I forget to write down a reading. The case that comes with it is a great size to carry in my purse, and it holds everything I need. All in all this is a great product and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My father is a diabetic and with most meters he has a hard time reading the results on the screen, but with the True Metrix that is no longer a problem. This meter has very clear and large numbers making it easier for him to read.

The test strips are reasonably priced.I like that it has blue tooth connectivity. It also has event tagging that you can mark before meal, after meal, exercise & etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t help but say that I love this machine. Never would I have thought I’d ever be excited by one haha. It’s like an adult fun new toy that really maybe shouldn’t. It has so many cool features such as Event Tagging where you can save like notes on the reading like if it was before or after a meal or if you’re sick or whatever else. It reads such a tiny drop of blood which is awesome. Now you don’t have to lancet yourself as hard. It also has alternate site testing, so no more sore fingers. It also comes in a case which is the only thing I’m not a fan of and would recommend that you get a better one. This one the zipper sticks really bad which makes our hard to open. Then the zipper on the edge hits the meter right where the strip goes so if you don’t take it out you have to put it on the edge of the counter to be able to clear it. Again great little machine.

Easy to follow instructions and easy to read results. Very straight forward device, and provides the insight that I need.

Readings were within a point every time when not exactly the same! East to use right out of the box. My only complaint is logging readings by hand. Would be even better if they had an app to sync with a smartphone. Then it would get 5 stars.

And like many, I've had several different blood glucose meters, but none compare to the ease and accuracy of the TRUE METRIX self monitoring glucose meter. The readings are accuracy, large fonted and easy to understand. There's no doubt in my mind that it's portability will help millions of individuals have an easier time caring for themselves like TRUE METRIX cares.
