I definitely reccomend true metrix. It works great and your readings are easy to read. I love the fact that you can go back and read your numbers. A must buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I began using the True Metrix Self Monitoring Blood Glucose Meter few weeks ago. I love all of the handy features it has! It comes with a carrying case which is perfect for on the go, I take it to work and every where I go. This is the first meter I have used that has life event tagging, so I can tag when I check my sugar, if it's before a meal, exercise, or after, if I'm sick, or before meds, that feature comes in handy with tracking and monitoring my levels. This meter is super accurate and works very fast. There is a function for testing reminder alarms which would be good if you were to forget to monitor, especially if the doctor has you on new medication and you need to monitor it frequently. The display is large and easy to read. The memory stores the date and time, and another feature is you can average the weekly blood glucose level or even monthly! It is perfect for what I need. I'll never buy another one.

She’s always had a hard time keeping track of everything and this meter saving her last readings are less of a worry for her. The numbers are big enough for her to not squint at and it reads her glucose within seconds! You also only need a little bit of blood for this meter. I love how flat and compact it is as well! Definitely a game changer!

I also had True Test Strips & A true Result Meter to compare the two systems. The systems are remarkably similar in blood glucose tests. I've been testing for Type 2 readings for many years and this new system by the same company as I understand, is very satisfactory for this oldster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice blood glucose meter that has a lot of functions and is easy to use and read. The kit came with meter, control solution, 10 strips, a lancet device, lancets, log book, and a cute carrying case. I thought no way will all this fit in this bag, but it does, so now I carry this meter around with me in case I need to test while out and about. I did change out the lancing device because honestly the one in this kit was difficult for me to use. I also can not find the strips that go with this meter at my regular big box store. All in all it’s a great meter if you can find the strips.

It is easy to use, the strips are affordable and easy to find, and requires a small blood sample. It holds its own against other, much more expensive, machines and is truly a winner.
