Cons: lancet is you need to put it together.I wish it just comes with simple lancet to use. Overall everything is good on this one.Def going to recommend with my friends who has diabetes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this for my granddaughter who was recently diagnosed with diabetes,, love the fact it can store up to five hundred prior results with the time and date in case of an issue and doctor needs to see readings over a certain time period. You can also set reminder times in case you get busy and forget it's time to test. You get the results very quickly, sometimes in as little as 4 to 6 seconds. Will also give you the average readings over a time frame 7,14,and 30 day, so if you are followings a weekly diet plan you can see how the levels fluctuate on a week in week out basis. For the cost the meter is a great value and accurate.

Not to much blood required, simple results to read. Small and easy to carry around with you. Didnt seem to hurt as much when poking myself like my usual one I've been using. Strongly think I'll be changing to new brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been diabetic for more than 10 years and have had dozens of glucose meters. The best machines are simple to use but still have the latest technology. The True Metrix blood glucose meter is a great simple machine. I have been using this along with my older meter that is about a year and a half old and both have showed very similar readings, only being maybe a point or two different between the two machines. I like that the machine is simple, probably the most simple machine I have seen in a long time. On start up, you just set the time and date and you can start using. To use, you just plug in your test strip and it turns on. It takes only a tiny drop of blood and only takes a few seconds to show the results. My only complaint is that the screen is hard to read, if your not in a bright-lite room. I just use my phone's light when it is dark, but a back light would be nice. Overall, this is a great machine for everyone who is diabetic. I am going to get another one as a back-up as soon as I get home.

He says it's so easy to use. He test daily and I have worried about his previous methods being hard and painful. Thanks for making it easier for my great dad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The True Metrix Blood Glucose Meter is average. It has a strip that you test your blood glucose on. There are a couple of things that set it apart from other meters one being that you can set a reminder to use it and two you can clearly see and read the screen. It has been very accurate from what has been tested. It has some memory because you can look at your average on this machine.

I am very pleased as how little blood is required compared to other strips I have used. I am also very pleased to find that the test strips are VERY Reasonably priced!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blood glucose monitor is really compact and easy to carry anywhere without it being too bulky or heavy. The readings are quick and has memory with the dates which is really helpful for statistics and the display is large and easy to read. It gives error code sometimes and works again with a restart. But most of all I love that it has Alerts, incase you forget to monitor.
