GREAT TIRES

I've been running B.F.Goodrich tires on all my cars and trucks sense the 80's have never had any problems with any of there tires and just last year we replaced all 6 vehicle's tires and believe me my wife is the roughest on the tires of the cars she drives.

2156014 Radial T/A

The brown letters was caused by my old metal ramps from changing the oil....The tires were too wide & rubbing. Very easy to clean. Use your regular kitchen dish scrubbie thinge....they say to use a brown 3M pad but the blue ones work great with some sort of cleaner...I use windex, clean them, then rinse. Problem solved.

I bought these while ...

I bought these while restoring my 1968 Ford Falcon and they're better than I ever could have expected. The quality is very good and the grip is amazing. It's got a warmed over 289 small block with aftermarket intake and 4bbl carb which should easily break the tires loose at any stop sign, but the tires hold the pavement like glue and provide as much grip as I could ever want. Even going around corners on concrete in the rain, the car holds the road like nothing else. I'm not sure exactly how much the gas mileage changed due to the tires since I put them on right when I got the car, but the wear is also very good. I've been using it as my daily driver for almost 10 months now and can't see any visible tread wear (even after a few burnouts).

I put 50 series T'A.s on my 1964 Corvette back in the '80s, and it's worn them ever since. Also use BFG tires on my wire's and daughter's BMWs and All-Terrain KO's on my oldest sons Silverado 4X4. But back to my 1990 Suburban, which I bought new in 1990, and have usede for business for 461,000 miles. I tried a few different brands with fair results at best before going to 255-70 X 15 T/A's over 15 years ago. Each set delivers 60-70,000 miles of service along with a fine ride and improved handling. Even when I lost a rear wheel on an Interstate, the three remaining tires helped bring me to a safe and controlled stop. Although some sheetmetal and the wheel were trashed, the tire checked out fine and continued to give me all the T/A benefits. I recommend BFG tires to friends and business associates. No one who has tried them has been disappointed because they are superior products, crafted with care.

Are You Kidding?

Are You Kidding ? You cannot own and drive Real Muscle Cars with any other tire , I have had some version of the T/A on at least 30 cars since 1977. I wouldn't roll any other way. the look, the ride and the wet traction (for those that drive em year round)is tough to beat. If you got one drive it!

I've been running BFG Radial TA tires for 30 years, and they keep getting better. This set has been an improvement over the last set. The ride quality is better, and they are quieter. I've put about 5,000 miles on them, and they show minimal wear. In all, a great tire.

I've used BFG's most of my life. The last 2 sets of tires I've used, both wore out with in 30,000 miles even though they were rated at 50K. After rotating constantly, they finally just plain wore out. Switched to a different tire company to give them a try.

White letters won't stay white!!!!!

Bought a set of BFG T/As for my restored Mopar. Last set of these same tires I purchased in 1999, always stayed white. These new ones won't even stay white while being parked in a dark garage. At least the 2 on the front won't. The fronts are 215/70×14. The rears are 255/60×15 and they will stay white a lot longer than the fronts. Very disappointed in the looks of these white letters. Love the tread pattern and the ride, but hate the brown letters. These new ones don't even have 500 miles on them yet. What has been changed over the years ro cause the major problem??

Great Tire Great Traction

Great tire. 2 sets. 2wd v6 SLT club cab Dakota. 255/70R15. Excellent wet and dry traction. They corner and BRAKE Well! Several emergency stops in Dallas where my other tires would have failed me. There wear somewhat quickly but 40k isn't bad for excellent traction even down to the bone. If you get 60k... that is hard rubber that won't stop you. I switched to the Rugged Terrain T/A on my Dakota now since I now need a little better offroad gravel traction.

One of the best tires I ...

One of the best tires I have owned! I installed a set of Radial T/A's on a few of my cars in the past, butI have to review about my first set, which was on a 1974 Mercury Montego. I had 295 50 15's on the back of the car, and I was going on a ski trip to the mountains with a friend. There was a major snow storm that day and highways were being closed. I drove through some of those closed highways, and without ever losing traction! Even up in the mountain town of Banff, Alberta and climbing some grades, 2 feet of snow on top of parked cars, these tires worked incredibly! I never thought such a wide tire could get traction in snow, but they did. These tires also wore very evenly, another surprise for such a wide tire. I had traction in wet conditions as well as dry, and with a mild 400 cubic inch motor with some torque, the tires were very well suited to a larger car with some weight. I highly recommend these tires to anyone who wants performance and longevity.
