On May 17, 2026 at club %234830 Avondale store I ordered and purchased a set of 4 BF Goodrich tires with high rise white lettering for my 1966 Chevy BelAir which looks beautiful but my review is for the two techs that removed, balanced and reinstalled by tire techs Edwin and Andrew who took great care with my deep dish chrome rims with baby moons and my pearl white paint job. Their excellent work is to be noted and recognized with their display of high proficiency and expertise and are an asset to themselves and to Sam's club. These gentlemen not only performed with a high degree of knowledge of their craft but also went out of their way to explain tips that I should take advantage of for the betterment of the classic vehicle which I did and very much appreciated that and them for their InSite and knowledge. These individuals should and must be given their proper recognition as customer service representatives in the highest degree, Please look to these technicians for service to be fully satisfied with full confidence in their work and Sam's Club manager at %234830 should be fortunate to have employees of this caliber among their ranks and give them their day in the sun as they should shine bright as they should so THANK YOU !!!!! I just got these tires mounted today and like the way they handle and ride. They're much quieter than the tires that I replaced. Also, I like the white lettering on the side. Walmart gave me good service when ordering and having the tires mounted. These tires were ordered off of the internet and when they came in at Walmart, I just went to the store where they mounted the tires.

Had to order tires on-line, not stocked in store. Good service receiving status, and delivery. Very satisfied.

I have owned many sets of BF GOODRICH RADIAL T/A I love the look and performance of the tire. I don't understand why it is not made in the new larger wheel sizes. Not everyone want's rubber bands on large wheels. This is an iconic tire and has a great look with the white letters. I need these tires for larger wheels for the stance and look I want on my car's and truck's. Not everyone wants their vehicles dragging on the ground.

I bought 4 new tires for my 1971 Corvette almost a year ago to pass state annual inspection. I have just read the browning challenges and I empathize with anyone’s discontent. I have had consumer let down on other products but I have had no issues with my BF Goodrich RWL purchase. I wish all well during these challenging times.

I always mount these tires with the letters facing in. I was very disappointed that the corresponding outside viewing surfaces (on all four tires) was not what it should have been; exhibiting scuff marks which were embedded into the tire surfaces, which could not be cleaned off. This is not my first set of TA Radials that I have purchased in the past and I had no issues; as I bring my car to various car shows in my area so this extremely disappointing.

To be honest this is my 3rd set of tires on a classic car and I am not happy with them. This set seems to be a lot more noisy than previous ones

It was only several years after this model was released that I owned them. The classic raised white letter tire will allways be the sharpest look on an auto tire. I recall putting between 50-60k miles on mine and, the wear wasn't bad for that much mileage but, the sidewalls were starting to split.

September 2025 I purchased four BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires for my classic car. Prior to purchasing the new ones, I had a set of Radial T/A's that I used for 18 years with no trouble. They performed great and looked new, but I decided it was time to replace the old tires in spite of their like new appearance. My car is garage kept and well maintained. I have two issues with the new tires: 1. Raised white letters have developed brown spots on the letters. Cleaning does not remove the brown discoloration. 2. The blue protective coating should wash right off with its first cleaning. It does not. White letters are still tinted blue in spite of being washed three times. I am disappointed with all of this, especially considering my 100% satisfaction with my previous set of Radial T/A's. I would have given these tires five stars had it not been for these issues.

Well, I researched these tires before purchasing and read that BFG had remedied the brown lettering problem. I previously had Firestone Firehawk SS20's which were 25 years old and the lettering stayed brilliant white with little effort. I put these new BFG Radial TA's on my classic 1987 Chevy truck and within 1 month the lettering has started to brown. The truck is stored indoors and is very seldom driven. When I got it out again after a month in storage, the lettering had to be cleaned again. It took me about 1-1/2 hours to clean, and they still showed some appearance of browning. I'm extremely disappointed!
