We purchased this vacuum due to having a long haired German Shepard and it clogs almost immediately every time we use it. The bristles are filled with hair immediately and also clog. It works some on the hardwoods as long as we clean it out half way through but it’s useless on carpet and rugs. Save yourself and look at another one.

I had a shark that I loved, but it was getting old and I thought I’d try this animal hair one. We have a long haired dog that sheds a lot. After about 3 minutes of vacuuming the light comes on saying the roller needs cleared. So I clear it and get about 5 minutes more. I’m ready to go back to my old shark.

We had an older Shark for 6 years, and this doesn’t compare. I used this once and on the second use it doed within 5 minutes. When I returned it the girls at the customer service desk said that they’ve received a lot of returns with the same problem. Don’t waste your time with this time!

After owning a previous version of this vacuum I was shocked to see how cheaply it was made. The motor was extremely loud and overall wasn't worth the price by a long shot. Save yourself the time and aggravation and don't purchase. Why shark put their name on this inferior unit seems like it is hurting the brand.
