I like the fact that the bag can sealafter opening. However, one of the bags I received had separation in the bottom flap where it leaked out. I had to transfer to a gallon storage container. This golden flax has a mild flavor. Personally, I prefer the healthier, nuttier flavor of brown flax. With that said, I couldn't beat the price nor justify paying for one bag of brown flax versus two bags of golden flax for about the same price. I love the fact that it is organic and minimally processed. The texture is fine, like slightly moist powder. It mixes well in drinks and in flour for baking. Also, being older, I need more fiber in my diet. So far, I don't know if golden flax has less fiber than brown as I am not seeing any improvement in that department. My doctor suggested for me to eat 1/4 cup a day to reduce cholesterol. I mix raw organic honey in it with coconut milk. The flavor reminds me of eating wheat germ as a kid. Overall, this Golden Flax is a quality product, and I can't beat the price. As far as golden being slightly less nutritious, it is really not that much to make a noticeable difference. I will definitely purchase again.

This same product is online at another popular site for $18. I use to use stober farms flax seed from sams club but I think they discontinued it and found this. Im sure it will meet my expectations. Cant beat the price for the quantity and I scoured online at most popular websites for many identical products, This is the best bang for your buck and quality.
