There are two different bags one clearly says ground and the other one clearly says whole.
This is a great price compared to many many other brands.

The flax seed I ordered from Sams is horrible!! Has the nastiest taste and I cannot eat it<.  I hope they will replace it.

Nasty FLAX

I purchased it a few times and the product is not exactly consistent as far as the size of the particles. It can be a fine powder or more of a coarse-like ingredient. The biggest issue for me was that the price changed from $8.98 to $15.98 overnight, which is close to double. at this point buying 8 lbs at a time its not such a good deal.

It was a great value ... Until it doubled in price

I use ground flax seed on my dry cereal along with chia seed.  On the rare occasions when I eat oatmeal, I also use this combination.  Of course, this combination is also used in smoothies.  Overall, I must say that the ground flax seed is a very healthy and tasty addition to my diet.
