poor tread life

I have these tires on a Toyota Sienna which has been aligned and the tires rotated every oil change. The ware indicators are showing evenly across the tires that they have reached the end of the tread life after only 33,890 miles. That is the worst tread life I have had out of any tire let alone a premium priced tire. This one factor negates any advantage that the tire would have in any other category. Never Michelin again!

By far the best set of tires we have ever owned!

By far the best set of tires we have owned! - Bought these as replacements for tires that came on a 2009 Hyundai Sonata Limited when purchased new from the dealer. The factory tires were replaced at just over 44,000 miles & finally had to replace the Michelins after six years and just short of 167,000 miles. Yeah, we put nearly 123,000 miles on these tires during local & highway driving & the whole time they rode & maintained pressures well, & exhibited amazingly even\consistent tread wear across the set even though the vehicle was only aligned once (when the tires were first installed) & were subsequently balanced & rotated only twice!!

Wore out at 34,000 miles!

Stay away from these tires! Unless you've got money to burn, you will be replacing them long before the 60,000 mile warranty. If money is no object, then sure they have a smooth and quiet ride. I did follow all proper maintenance and all work has been done at the dealer. In spite of that, all the tires are wore out and needing to be replaced at 34,000 miles!

Premature Tire Rot

My Michelins I had on my 2102 Honda Odyssey had 56,000 miles and the tread was still good enough for another 10,000 miles, but after 4 years of age, severe tire rot had set in causing me to replace them before the tread wore out. I have in the past gotten between 60, and 80,000 miles on sets of similar Michelins, and tire rot was never an issue. I would expect Michelins to go 5-6 years before tire rot would become an issue. I will watch my new Michelins I just had installed. Should tire rot set in again within 4 years, I will probably switch to another brand next time.

Not up to expectation

Bought new Honda Odyssey. Tire have 40k miles, rotated during each dealer maintained service. Let's just President Lincoln's head is CLEARLY visible. Tire does not last.. It's a mini-van, hydro planing is not fun. Was quiet and comfortable for most of its less than average life.

Primacy MXV4 tire. Did not meet my mileage expectation

I bought a brand-new Japanese passenger car from a local Southern California car dealership in April 2016. The mileage of the car was about 33,200 miles as of March 5, 2021. It has three OEM Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires and one replacement tire of the same brand and type. Per the car dealership's service report dated March 5, 2021, all four tires had tread depth measurements of 4/32" of less (3/32"). In the United States, new tires typically come with 10/32” or 11/32” tread depths. My four tires' tread depths have been already worn off 70 percent in a mileage of 33,200 miles (55% of Michelin claimed 60,000 mile tread warranty). A tire should not wear to the point of less than < 4/32” in only 55% of the claimed mile tread warrantly! The Primacy MXV4 tires on my car definitely did not meet my expectation in terms of mileage and ruined my impression of Michelin as a top-notch tire manufacturer.

Wore out fast

I have these tires on my 2016 Honda Odyssey Elite and at first the tires were good. Around 25,000 i noticed the tires were worn out around the edges. And now the tires at 31,000 miles are totally bare. Not impressed also has a lot of road noise. The car gets religious serviced at the dealer every 5k miles as per dealers program. I am long time Michelin fan hopefully this was a bad tire. I am going to try the MXM and see if they fare better.

29,000 miles need new tires already

My 2014 Honda piolot has less than 30,000 miles and needs 3 new tires in 20 month's. The 4th tire has already been replaced last month. Had all my maintenance done at dealer with the service plan I purchased with automobile so it cost me nothing to get rotation 's also got free alignment checks.

Excellent Performance & Quiet Tires

Purchased a used Ford Flex with new Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires on the car, then put over 68,000 miles on these tires before I felt I needed to replace them with new tires again. So I bought a new set of these Michelin MXV4 tires to replace the ones I just wore down. Very good handling and quiet tires for my 2011 Ford Flex.
