Excellent tire for all around performance and makes an even sure footed Subaru feel even more confident in icy snow covered roads

You can't beat Michelin

The Primacy MXV4 has excellent treadwear (620) and performs quietly and smoothly. I've used the Michelin X-Radical for 10+ years and am anxious to try out the new 90,000 mile Defender from Michelin.

These tires rock!

Got these tires put on my Mazdaspeed 6 MZR turbo GT during the winter of 2014. I live in northern Minnesota so I know snow and these tires handle perfectly. While others crawl well below posted highway speeds during massive snowfalls my car felt perfectly safe and stable going at speed, never even kicking out once. Way better than I expected for an all season tire in the snow. Would buy again and again and again!

Its all about the safety and value

These tires provide a very quiet, smooth and excellent road handling ride. They manage pot holes and rough pavement very well. I have driven them through a lot of heavy rain storms and they hold their traction very well. With more than 12,000 miles on them they look brand new. After many years of using Michelins, these are best one that I have ever owned.

quiet & smooth

I bought the Michelin MXV's for my '01 Honda Accord EX Coupe, which had over 145K miles at the time. After 9 months & 7,500 miles, they run very quietly & smoothly at highway speeds and securely grip the road, dry & wet. I remain very satisfied with the purchase & have no regrets.

I'm glad I bought these tires.

These tires replaced original equipment on my 2007 Cadillac DTS. They provide excellent handling and ride; probably better then the factory installed tires. The dealer had a little difficulty balancing the tires, as they caused a slight shimmy, but the problem was eventually resolved by using a spin balancer. I would recommend these tires to anyone.

Have always prefered Michelin tires

when we first had the new tires installed we thought they had a little more road noise then we had with other Michelin tires. After the tires now have a 1,000 miles or more on them they seem to have become a little quieter. I'm hoping that we get 100,000 on the tires we install on the Lexus like we found on our old Honda twice before with Michelin tires.

Grippy & Quiet

Got a set of 4 for my Volvo XC 90. I recently completed a drip from Indiana to Maine and back, and these tires performed stellar. Encountered a lot of rain going through all of the elevation changes in NY, PA, and NH. Never felt like grip was compromised. In my case, with 4 small children, road noise from the tires was pretty non-existent. All kids sleep really well over the entire trip. Tires are a little salty in price, but I feel so far they are holding up their weight. Now if they prematurely wear early then that would change my opinion on that aspect. Have not yet had the opportunity to get a feel from them in adverse conditions like snow and ice.

I've only driven on these ...

I've only driven on these tires through one winter and we did not have much snow, so the verdict is out on that point. Wet traction is pretty good. My main complaint is this is a high rollling resistance tire and it is not giving me the same or better mileage under any conditions as the set of tires I had before. Between certain fuel level indicators my old set used to give me a solid 80 miles driven whereas the Primacy MXV4's barely make it over 65. Based on this I cannot recommend this tire.

not happy
2 out of 5 stars review

These tires came on my 2014 Camry when I bought it new. I am looking for new tires and have been happy with them until I see they are rated at 60,000 miles. I know that is different for every vehical. However I should have bought them last fall when I had 30,000 plus miles on them but I'm retired and don't go much so decided I could get by another year. Now with only 40,000 on them not even near what they are rated at I probably will not repurchase this tire. I have had the car 4.5 years and drive a moderate amount of miles a year. I don't think these tires have even been on a gravel road maybe a dirt driveway. Should have lasted longer. I worked at an auto repair facility for several years where we also sold tires. I seen several brands wear way past their warrenty miles and lots that did not. I will be looking at some of those brands. Thanks
