The MXV4s on our Honda ...

The MXV4s on our Honda Accord are excellent tires; the current set has approximately 75,000 milles on them and are finally to the point that they will be replaced in teh next few months. Wet traction is excellent and hydro-planning is very rare. Handling is very good with minimal sidewall roll on exit ramps and very good lateral grip in snow. Snow traction is better than average; I drove 45 miles in 14"of snow last winter without problems. As always, Michelin deserves your first look when purchasing tires - they always perform as expected and advertised.

Put on my 2007 Toyota Solara

The Dealer put this tire on my car, after a accident, so i replaced the others to same. When I drove off with new tires, my ride was so quiet I had to look down at the road to see what type it was. I seen a road that looked like gravel in asphalt. I seen that some say, tire don't last 60K. I know a hard tire would, but I like soft with low noise, and more grip to road. I think, if they last 33k, then I get the warranty rebate. I use Michelin on all my cars. So the next set will cost less on this car. Keep the receipt in car next to tire key lock. lol

only ever bought these used....still oh so satisfied

best tire ever, bought them on some custom rims with low tread, found some more on craigslist (basically new) and I totally LOVE them, 100% would recommend for any car. I have not driven them in the winter before though, I have no need with a set of XI-3 tires on a separate set. loving Michelin -sam

Not Good

I purchased 4 all-Season tires less than 2 years ago. Now with only 40k km they are worn down, and the car does not have any traction on the road. I was expecting them to last at least 80k ( per manufacturer specs they are supposed to last 100k ) . I guess Michelin was not the right choice.

Have less than 35,000 miles on my Michelin Primacy MXV4

Tires on my 2012 Honda Pilot Touring and the dealer says getting close to needing new tires. Have less than 35,000 miles on original equipment tires and do NOT pull anything. Mostly in town driving. 3/32 on two tires and 4/32 on two other tires. Worry about getting thru snow and ice in Northern Colorado with these tires.

Great ride most of the time except in snow

I have rotated my tires every 5000 miles and at 31000 my dealer tells me to start looking for another set. Here in the Ozarks you cannot get the mileage the tires are rated for because of all of the curves and hills. This tire is great on flat roads and on the curves but not so great in the winter. Had trouble navigating hills and starting from stops on snowy days.

Has pros & cons

These tires have great performance, meaning they ride well & have great grip no matter what the road conditions. However pricey, worth it if they last as long as they claim. I drive around 12k-14k per year & these tires did NOT last. They claim 65k, but only got me half the mileage.

Safe and Dependable Tire

Only got 40K miles out of the tires but I feel we drive our vehicle pretty hard and in extreme conditions. I felt these were the safest tires out there for my newer Honda Odyssey which is why I bought then again. These are quiet, safe, all-around great tire with no drawbacks. Happy to have my family riding on these tires.

Best tires ever!

I have a 2007 Acura TSX, I have put 75,000 miles on my Primacy MXV4s and are just now shopping for new tires! Upset that my size is no longer offered in this tire but I think they have exceeded their expectations! These tires are quieter than the original tires that came on my car new!

92,420 miles

I have a Lexus LS400, year 2000. I bought a set of Michelin Primacy MXV4s in a 225/60R/16 in 2007. It is now October 2015. There is still legal tread (3/32) after 92K miles but winter is coming up and I need a new set. Unfortunately the MXV4 is being discontinued and I can't get them. So sad, such a great tire. Smooth, good gas mileage, good grip, quiet.. I got the free rotation and balance for the life of the tire, I had a fire-year alignment and I check the tire pressures regularly. It paid off. I rate these tires as very excellent.
