Michelin Quality and Peace of Mind

This is my second set of Michelins, my first set went on my 2007 Optima, I just recently bought them for my 1995 Lexus 400. My first set provided a quiet and comfortable ride, I am pleased with my second set as well. The Lexus is a lot bigger than the Optima and it rides even better on the Michelins. I haven't seen any increase in gas mileage but the Lexus has a v8 and I drive mainly Interstate miles back and forth to work. Braking with these tires is great and I feel really secure in turns and handling on the Interstate. The tires wore extremely well on the Optima and I expect the same with these. I will update my review when I put another 20,000 miles or so on these tires. Bottom line is that I really like these tires and I feel it was worth the extra money it cost to put these on my vehicle over other choices I could have gone with.

Great Tire for the money

This is my second set of Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires. I got great wear out of my last set, and expect the same out of these. They really reduce road noise, and they enhance the performance of my car even during bad weather conditions. I always have good response and road feel thanks to the design of the tires. They are well balanced requiring little balancing work by my installer. My next set of tires will be Michelin.

I've only driven on these ...

I've only driven on these tires through one winter and we did not have much snow, so the verdict is out on that point. Wet traction is pretty good. My main complaint is this is a high rollling resistance tire and it is not giving me the same or better mileage under any conditions as the set of tires I had before. Between certain fuel level indicators my old set used to give me a solid 80 miles driven whereas the Primacy MXV4's barely make it over 65. Based on this I cannot recommend this tire.

These tires are extremely ...

These tires are extremely quiet and compliant. They give the car an added assurance in handling as their responsiveness is particularly good. I've had them for over a year and they still look like new with hardly any signs of wear. The only improvement I would suggest is that the sidewalk, though not unattractive is not the sportiest looking, with a rounded edge and unflattering sidewalk design.

Primacy is prime

These tires were what was on the vehicle when I purchased it new from the dealer. They have performed pretty well. Living in Indiana yhey have to be versitile. Snow, ice gravel, etc. I hope they last a little longer. They have about 40,000 miles on them now so I don't know how much more I can get from them.

Performance is good, durability is a joke

Installed these tires brand new on my 2014 Toyota Camry SE in July of 2016, when the odometer on the vehicle was around 30000 miles. Performance was good even in the snowy and winding mountain roads in WV. Latest inspection of the vehicle in September of 2018 showed 52000 miles on the odometer, and the treads are down to 2-4/32!! You must be kidding me! That was only 22000 miles, 26 months!

Excellent road tire!

Replaced the OEM Michelins with the MXV4's and they are excellent for the 2005 Cadillac De Ville. It is a large heavy car and the tires provide excellent performance in every way. Good fuel economy, tight cornering, sure footed braking and smooth ride. The Cadillac travels the Interstate, rural highways here in North Dakota and are good rain, snow tires when driven reasonably. If the pressure is increased about 5% over the OEM door pillar recommendation the tires provide better stability in cornering and better fuel economy.

Primacy MXV4

The Primacy MXV4 is an excellant tire. The ride is also excellant. City driving, the tires corner good and grip the road very good. Highway driving is also good. City or highway driving is smooth as glass. These tires also looks good on the vechicle. Overall the best driving experience on a set of tires. I highly recommend these tires.

Great traction

I've had the Primacy tires for a couple years. After ~15K miles, I can barely notice any wear and the performance is great - excellent traction on pavement, gravel and grass. These tires were not given to me nor am I being compensated for this review.

We've had the Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires on our Dodge Magnum for at least 2 years and so far so good. They handle great and so far the tread is holding up good. This is our primary vehicle used for work and trips. The Michelin name is a brand you can trust!
