Great Tire

First set lasted 65,000k This tire is a fantastic tire. Great on holding the car on the road and around corners. Quiet and secure. This tire give you confidence all conditions. I do a lot of freeway driving in all conditions. I never had to be concerned that the tire was not up to the task.

It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This!

Michelin tires are the top of the line in terms of handling, comfort and most importantly, safety. Since buying my very first car many years ago, I have never considered riding on anything else. They are very good in rain, snow and even ice. Clearly, they are pro- foundly responsive in day-to-day driving but, also in emergencies where seconds count. Obviously, the company who produces this quality product uses state of the art technology coupled with old fashioned pride in what they sign their name to. Michelin is in a class of it's own. Tires simply do not get any better than these. In real life, they translate into confidence behind the wheel and well deserved trust of the driver.

Great Tires, Little Wear

I have had the Michelin Primacy MXV4's for 20 months now and have logged about 22,000 miles with them over this time period. Tires have low noise and give a smooth ride. They have done 2 round trips from the Houston, TX area to southern California and 6 - 470 mile trips to Jackson, MS during this time without any problems and little wear. Other than having them rotated and rebalanced per recs, they have required no maintenance. Safety on the road is of paramount importance so Michelin is the only tire brand my family will buy.

Pretty great so far

I've driven about 7K miles so far, and they're really nice tires for the following reasons: 1) In rainy weather, it's like driving in no rain -- perfect traction, no hydroplaning. Even when I've had to make an emergency stop on the highway, there has been no loss of traction. 2) I have the "H" tires, and they make driving on bumpy roads very smooth. It's like riding on an air cushion! 3) My fuel mileage has gone up about ~1.5 miles/gallon since switching to this tire. I'm really looking forward to seeing how long these tires last. Based on what I've seen so far, I would definitely buy Michelin tires again. The braking performance and comfort really stand out to me.

Peace of Mind

I prefer Michelin tires for all my passenger cars. I find that wear life goes beyond average for all radials. Traction for cornering and braking is satisfactory and I would say that it functions better than expected, but I have used Michelins for so long that my expectations are high due to my experiences. What I find great about these tires is the peace of mind derived from the confidence in Michelin quality. I cannot find anything to say about what's not so great.

Pro: Excellent rolling ...

Pro: Excellent rolling smoothness, really lets you easily find and enjoy smooth road. Very quiet. Softens most road inputs. Good steering on center feel and handling. Con: None really, although I was hoping for even more impact softness on a 1998 Avalon that has never handled rough impacts well.

Good all around tire

Purchased this tire based upon Michelin's reputation and I have not been let down. I placed these tires on my 2011 Hyundai Sonnota and improved the ride. In the rain the tires seem to stick to the road. That is a fantastic feeling. Only one concern, since I have switched to these tires, I have lost 2-3 mpg on my overall fuel economy. I think it is because these are softer tires than my OEM tires.

What a difference these tires make

I looked up the test results online and thought these were the best for my EX35. WOW what a difference, a very quite ride, and great traction. They are very nimble and I'm getting used to the fast response of the tires. I later realized I put the same tires on my wife's G37 last year.

Great tires for a Mazda 6 in the snow

I purchased a set of the Primacy MXV4 tires to replace the original equipment Energy MXV4 tires for my Mazda 6. Where the Energy MXV4 was mediocre in many respects, especially in the snow, the Primacy MXV4 replacements have proven to be far superior, quieter on dry pavement, solid handling in the rain and great traction in the snow (and boy, have we had snow here in NH this year!). I definately recommend them as the tire to buy - I think that they are even better than the Defenders on my wife's minivan.

I would recommend this tire to my friend

These tires give a very smooth and comfortable ride. The best thing about them is their handling on snow and ice. They are superior to anything I have used in the past. Thet stop amazingly well, wet or dry., and starting traction on sheer ice is remarkable.
