I would buy these tires forever

I have had many Michelin tires through the years and they have all been great. The Primacy MXV4 are no exception. The ride is very quiet and smooth. Handling is great on both wet and dry pavement, and stopping is excellent. When I replaced another brand of tires that came on my wife's car with these Michelin's she commented that the car drove so much better she thought she had a new car. Will not buy anything else, ever.

I love these tires. I've ...

I love these tires. I've had two sets of MXV4 before these, first MXV4, then MXV4 plus. Now the Primacy MXV 4. I've loved them all. Great ride, handling, mileage. They're pricey, but worth it. Before getting these Primacy's I did some review searching on the web. Of all the tires in its class, the Primacy's are the only ones that did not get mixed reviews. All positive reviews. My tire dealer suggested another tire which he thought was a better value. I chose the Primacy MXV4's despite his recommendation of another tire. Stick with a winner!

Pay a little more but get the best.

The MXV4 is the best all around tire I have ever bought in the last 50 years. When rotated and properly inflated, expect to receive the most mileage out of this tire. The tire rides great, is quiet and handles wet roads as if dry. No worries about hydro-planning. Michilin is well worth the money.

Not my first set of Michelin

This is the 3rd set of Michelin tires on my Subaru. My car has approximately 160,000 miles. I purchased the car with Michelin tires and have stayed with Michelin. Actually, this is my second Subaru and that car always had Michelin Tires. Great tires, great price and most importantly, very safe.

I commute 176 miles a day ...

I commute 176 miles a day with about equal portions being rural and interstate. The handling is excellent whether dealing with rain conditions, dodging pot holes or making quick moves at interstate speeds. The tires have no road noise and the ride is smooth on the variety of surfaces I travel daily. With 10,000 miles already on the tires no wear is even visible yet.

My opinion

I have had 2 sets of these tires. First set only got 40,000 miles. I rotate my tires every 5,000 miles and they were on a brand new vehicle. Bought another set. I now have 40,000 and need a new set. Got an alignment when the new set was put on and rotate faithfully. Mostly highway miles. pretty disappointed in these tires. Wont buy again. I have always been a Michelin person. Hopefully my new set of defenders will win me back!

Simple Fact - Great Tire

Simple Fact - Great Tires. Purchased four tires a little over two years ago and they have performed flawlessly. Have put 32,000 on them, at last check at the dealer still have 9/32 or tread left, are quiet and smooth riding. What else can one say but "A great tire"

Time is the Greatest Measure of Quality

We have a 2004 Superbeetle Turbo. It came equipt with Michelin tires on it. After 64000 miles and 9 years the tires still had great tread. I wanted to replace them with Michelin tires with the same specs as the originals. The new MX series tires we installed last year give us the same great ride, cornering, handling on wet and dry roads and all around performance at any speed that the original tires our Beetle came with. I would not have any other brand on our vehicle.

Grippy & Quiet

Got a set of 4 for my Volvo XC 90. I recently completed a drip from Indiana to Maine and back, and these tires performed stellar. Encountered a lot of rain going through all of the elevation changes in NY, PA, and NH. Never felt like grip was compromised. In my case, with 4 small children, road noise from the tires was pretty non-existent. All kids sleep really well over the entire trip. Tires are a little salty in price, but I feel so far they are holding up their weight. Now if they prematurely wear early then that would change my opinion on that aspect. Have not yet had the opportunity to get a feel from them in adverse conditions like snow and ice.

These were the OEM tires ...

These were the OEM tires on my 2006 TL. I tend to be a bit harsh on my tires and the MXV4s were good for touring but not for my aggressive driving. I can frequently feel lateral slide as I cornered. A for hydroplane resistance, let's just say it wasn't confidence building. Supposedly the tires are also good for fuel economy. May if I used my car for touring but I found only negligable difference. Good for OEM but I would not pay the asking price of these tires. I little more and you get high to ultra high performance tires. Cost to benefit is not worth the money.
