Family vehicle. Long distance high speed running. Winter and slush conditions. Summer use. Tire is very quiet and does its job without fuss. No squealing, no steering loss at full turns, soaks up bumps well, solid thump of tires over rough pavement. Excellent rain traction, no slippage. All around champ.

These tires replaced original equipment on my 2007 Cadillac DTS. They provide excellent handling and ride; probably better then the factory installed tires. The dealer had a little difficulty balancing the tires, as they caused a slight shimmy, but the problem was eventually resolved by using a spin balancer. I would recommend these tires to anyone.

I have a 2007 Volvo V70 2.5 T wagon. I replaced the original Energy MXV4 with Primary MXV4 205/55 16 H because the treadwear is better as compared the original tires. The original tires lasted 30,000 miles and the tires were rotated every 7,500 miles. I hope the tires will last 50,000 miles. The ride and handling is good. The traction is good but I don't drive aggressively.

I had Pilot on my CTS. The replacement Pilot's were more than I wanted to spend and came across the Primacy. I would say they are similar road noise level to Pilot. The ride seems the same as Pilot. I recently drove up a brown slushy snow covered 20% incline (CTS is AWD) and had no problems going up it or coming down. Another 5% downhill and uphill were fine. Otherwise I have not pushed them to their limit on wet or dry roads. So cannot really comment on that.

I am not new to buying Michelin tires. I was very well tutored by my father who ALWAYS purchased Michelin tires. He said if you want a smooth, comfortable ride, long wearing tire buy Michelin. I heeded his advice and for many years I have purchased Michelin and will continue to do so for the above reasons. I am pleased with their handling in rain, snow and when needed sudden braking.

I purchased these tires 25,000 miles ago. I have them rotated regularly, every oil change or roughly 6000 miles. They are still full of great tread. We've had an extremely wet summer this year, and the roads have been loaded with standing water quite often. I'm not exactly the "cautious driver" when it comes to rain or snow. I have no fear that these tires will grip in the worst of conditions. These Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires are, by far, the best I've ever owned. I will continue to buy Michelin tires from now on.

Nearly all highway miles; ie) some short trips but total mileage vrs. highway renders short trips insignificant. Carefully driven older Saab 9-5, a car that has problems with tire wear as it ages. Tires have been rotated twice. No significant degradation. Tire pressure kept at 40 psi. Ride seems to suffer at this pressure. Handling is very good both wet and dry. Ride is more harsh than I expected, with older, lower quality tires that were replaced, being more comfortable. This may be due to tire pressure increase to 40 psi from (presumed) 30 psi on old tires.

I contacted a Michelin technician for recommendation for tire replacement. I informed him of my current tire equipment and he advised the Michelin Primacy MXV4. The Primacy has a 60K tread life, however, provide a rough ride, and notice smallest imperfections on roadways. Not a distinctive looking tire, not as classy, a much different profile than original equipment. Tires are not black, very brown looking, must scrub and add tire dressing to look black. I take much pride in the appearance of my car; these tires do not meet my expectations as a superior product .

I replaced the original equipment tires on my Chrysler 300C (V8 Rear wheel Drive) on September 22, 2010 at 34,321 miles because they were completely worn out. I had new Michelin Primacy MXV4 225/60 R18 installed at that time. Today at 120,719 miles, (that's 86,398 miles) I finally replaced the Primacy MXV4 tires. The wear strips were not yet showing and the tires still had reasonable wear left on them. The tires gave me no problems and even with 86,000 plus miles, they were still comfortable and quiet and my car still controlled like it was on rails. I did take proper care of the tires by having them periodically rotated and maintained proper tire inflation. I was going to replace the tires with new Primacy MXV4s but I understand they are no longer available so I purchased the Michelin Premier AS. I sure hope they give me the same kind of service that the Primacy MXV4s have. Keep up the good work!!!

I have these tires on a front wheel drive cross over. They are great in all weather conditions including light snow. Very comfortable ride city or highway driving. Provide good gas mileage on the highway. These were a big improvement over the stock tires that were on the car. They are not great in heavy now.
