First Time Mich Customer

As an employee in the auto business I recommend these tires on a daily basis- it sure is nice to actually try them! The tires were great- with coming off of bald tires I expected better traction what I wasnt prepared for is the MAJOR improvement in road mannerisms. These tires were noticably better in all areas: quite, handles bumps better, corners better, etc. Also, with living in Wisconsin during one of our highest total snowfalls in a December I would like to think I am a good judge of winter traction- very impressive.

Overall good tire. less miles than hoped

I bought the michelines because of our previous experience with them. We've bought probably, 10 pairs over the years. I was a little disappointed however that my 50,000 mile tires only lasted 27,000 with diligent rotation every 5,000 miles. I love the handling and feel of these as they provided a quiet ride. Im still sold on michelines and will continue to buy.

Second Time around

Purchased 2007 Camry with 27k and at 55K purchased a set of Primacy MXV4. Could have gotten more out of the old Michelins except that the State where I lived milled two highways I had to use in getting to a Hospital where I had treatments or 170 miles RT. I put on about 6K. The old ones got worn down to the indicator bar and being pleased with the way that they performed I bought another set. The specs indicate that the Tires are rated above 100mph. I rarely go above 80 MPH. One of my first set of tires were Michelin back in the late 60's when I went to a tire dealer who had taken a tubed set off a Mercades Benz. They wore like Iron and in the years to follow never went back to a predominant Nylon Tire. The tires are smooth riding, cost more, but are well worth it. Rick

Just the most recent Michelin Purchase

I've got the MXV4s on my Honda Accord SE. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again when necessary! They handle well in all weather conditions and they ride well at highway speeds. Whenever I need tires I go for Michelins. They have worn well and handled well for me for many years and over many different cars!

Primacy MCV4 for 2011 Altima 3.5

I am a repeat buyer of these tires, I have used them on a previous vehicle. They are used on a daily commute of 80 miles round trip and road trips. I drive in all types of weather including snow. These tires provide a great overall value. Great handling, good tread wear, and reduced noise. I appreciate that these tires handle all conditions admirably on very difficult NJ roads.

Best out there

I have three cars all using the same tires. My cars are not expensive ones but I want the best tires on them. I am up to my third set on one car (this one I write the review on), next month the third set on another, and on my second set on the newest car. In all cases they handle great, never had any issue with any tire ever. They have great treadwear rating compared to others, but where I live I get a little over 1/2 the rating because the roads are rough and they use a lot of glass and other recycled materials in the asphalt. Also by the time I almost need tires the Ozone and weather cracking takes it toll after the 5 years or so that I have the tires. They do not meet the moderate or severe MAST cracking standards for warranty replacement. So pretty much because I do not drive on tires to the minimum standards I never get to get any prorated replacement. I rather be safe and always have excellent tires on my cars, so I replace them early. This is not unique to Michelin I might add. But all I know is that these are great tires in rain, snow, ice etc for my purposes. They also based on their manufacturing method come more balanced that other brands because they are not two tire pieces glued together. So the tires are so naturally balanced.

After very careful ...

After very careful research I selected these tires. A comfortable ride was very important as well as quietness. Now that I have over 30,000 miles on them they are no longer quiet. In fact, they are very loud and this bothers me a great deal. I wish that Michelin would make a tire that remained quiet for the life of the tread. The ride comfort is still good.

Pay a little more but get the best.

The MXV4 is the best all around tire I have ever bought in the last 50 years. When rotated and properly inflated, expect to receive the most mileage out of this tire. The tire rides great, is quiet and handles wet roads as if dry. No worries about hydro-planning. Michilin is well worth the money.

31,000 a reading needing replacement

Bought a 2016 ES300h in September 2016. Don't drive this car much, odometer at slightly over 31k miles. I expected much more as this was the original fitment. Tires are already needing replacement. How is that possible when warranty is 60k miles. That's unacceptable for a luxury car.

Mile After Mile With Little Sign of Wear

This is my second set of Michelin Primacy Tires. I had them on my Lincoln and now on my Lexus. Non-Michelin tires I used in the past wore much quicker and I had to inflate more often. These tires look new even after 10,000 miles of driving and keep their inflation for a much longer period of time. Sure Michilen tires cost more, but on average I had to replace less expensive tires twice as often with the same mileage ratings. I feel safer with Michelin tires on may cars and that counts for a lot. When I ride on Michelin, I feel Protected.
