Very poor construction! Right out of the package, several areas of elastic edge were not stitched into the skirt. I should return it, but I need it immediately to protect the mattress while my husband recuperates from a difficult surgery. I have placed another mattress cover on top to hold the waterproof one in place. Disappointed!

I finally had to take this off my bed after 6 months. It was like sleeping on a shower curtain. It trapped my body heat underneath me and I even bought a mattress pad to go between it and my sheets. This is made of plastic and it is not practical unless you are the type of person who is always cold. There's other mattress covers made with bamboo. Im going to try that next. Good luck!

I washed it and then tested to confirm if it was waterproof or not. I poured a small amount of water on it which beaded up at first. Left it for a few hours with a towel underneath. Came back and saw that the water had absorbed into the cover. Checked the towel and it was wet. Waterproof FAIL

Thin and effective

I bought this to replace a quilted water proof cover my dogs ripped by digging the sheets prior to laying down....like the bed isn't soft enough already. When I pulled it out of the package, I was disappointed and thought it would never last. It seemed so cheap and thin. But it has stood up well to my two Great Danes. My sheets, however, have not. Lost 4 more of those, but no matter how ripped my sheets get, this thing still protects the bed! Waterproof aspect works great too.
