Wanted to protect our new mattress and this is just what I was looking for. More like a sheet than the zip cover type. Stays in place in the mattress. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Didn't prevent staining, or make for easier cleaning. Did nothing as far as I could tell.

It started out good but recently when mg daughter has had an accident it leaks theiugh to the mattress. Not very waterproof.
