This is basically a fitted plastic sheet. If you have a bed wetter, this is for you. If you need more, keep looking.

Wanted to protect our new mattress and this is just what I was looking for. More like a sheet than the zip cover type. Stays in place in the mattress. Very satisfied with my purchase.

You get what you paid for. It doesn't seems to be waterproof as it doesn't look plastic. Is very thin, white with sparkles. The fit is not quite right, but it could be my mattress.
