Shattered glass

i have had this washer and the matching dryer for 6 months. it was working well other than needing to frequently clean pet hair out of the filter, up until a couple weeks ago when it started shaking and walking across the floor. some black gravel was also coming out of the bottom. today i was running a load and heard a strange sound, like coins in the washing machine. water was leaking from the front so i stopped the cycle. the interior glass of the door had completely shattered. luckily the machine is still under warranty and i'm hoping customer support will replace the unit, clearly it has issues.

Fast, stacking not for short people

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very happy with our washer/dryer. The washer is super fast compared to our previous model (not a samsung). I will note that I am 5'3" and I have to use a step stool to see the controls on the dryer with them stacked. Totally worth it.

Great Washer!

OMG I HATE this washer!

i decided to get this samsung front loader. with my old washer, all i had to do was pick water temp, load size, and time to wash. this samsung has too many options and it wants to pick what it wants. problems? 1. the compartment where you put in the detergent fills up with water (sometimes it is dirty water. 2. the washer moves so much during the spin cycles that it turns 90 degrees. i am afraid it will pull out of the wall! 3. i tried to stop the machine in mid spin in order to add another spin and it went right back to the wash cycle again. the instruction booklet is not helpful at all. if i could, i would sell this for cheaper than i pais and get an inexpensive, uncomplicated machine.

Breaks just after warranty period!

Just outside of warranty, and to no surprise, the machine breaks. Heard a banging during spin cycle, took the boot off to see if something was stuck and I find two bolts backed out and the tub weight broken in half. Bolts into plastic... I figure this happens to other people too so be wary!! The pin support broke off too so there's a hole in the tub! Super great, and I got the stacking option so now I'm out a washer and need to figure out the dryer situation. Rookie mistake buying Samsung.

Look pretty but low quality material

Start making noise soon after purchase. Look pretty but low quality material/manufacture, it won't last.

Very good washing but wish the sound could be mute

Good washer, lots of cycle settings. I wish that you could mute sound like the dryer but other then that would recommend.
