Best everyday on road and off road tire!

I am happy to say that these tires have been incredible in every way! I used to roll on CT Extreme Contact tires for years and I am now very happy to have switched. The traction is awesome both on road and off road. The performance in the rain has also given me a greater confidence that my SUV won’t spin out. I recommend this tire to everyone who enjoys both on road and off road driving.

Michelin Cross Climate

Good handling but hate them as were told these were quiet tires and they are soooo noisy it drives us crazy. Would never buy these again and stuck with expensive tires. Pretty bad when you can’t stand to drive our Toyota Rav 4 because of the noisy tires.

Excellent All-Around Tires. Quiet and Capable

Bought first set for a 2010 Forester. So impressed I bought a second set for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Great ride, and grip especially on the Grand Cherokee. Replaced OEM tires on the Jeep. These are just so much better. No more loud crashing over potholes and highway cruising is so quiet. Replaced some Kumho's on the Subaru and these are also super quiet. Certainly worth the money. Don't put on cheap tires. You'll regret it like buying cheap shoes.

    Happy Tires

I purchased the tires Nov 2023. They handle excellent in snow and heavy rain with no hydroplaning. The only negative I have is they are noisy on the road especially on the rural roads where I live. But overall they handle every type of climate and would definitely purchase them again in the future.

    Great Tire

Bought these last summer in preparation for this winter. It gave me a few months to also see how these performed as everyday tires. Overall, I am very pleased with these tires. On dry and wet pavement I have received good handling and traction. This morning, where I am (Fort Collins, CO), the city was surprised with a bit of a dump. The forecast was for a trace of snow, but I woke up to 5 inches. The city was caught off guard and had not prepared the streets by pre-applying mag chloride. So the morning commute was through 5 inch snow on the residential streets and tracks and a layer of ice on the main arterials. I had no problem negotiating any of it with these tires with the exception of starting from a standing stop where I got a little b...

    VERY HAPPY with Performance

One year Review- Put a set on both my Lexus LS430 and RX330 in September 21'. Now added approximately 10K miles to each vehicle. Handling tightened up on both vehicles, getting a little better milage and traction is incredible. But the most noticeable change was the noise. I have used most models of Michelin tires over the years and they all start out very smooth and quiet but get noisier within a few thousand miles. These CF2's have stayed really quiet and smooth. and highly recommend. About to add a set to a 4x2 F-150. Would like to see a review from someone who has done so.

    Disappointed

I've about 3000 miles on these tires on our Lexus ES 350 and have been disappointed with the ride and quietness. The tires feel hard on bumpy roads and make a moderate amount of noise on all roads. The traction seems good in all conditions. My son-in-law got the same tires on their Honda Odyssey and states his ride is soft and they are quiet compared to the snow tires he had on it.

    Perfect Review (Tesla Model 3)

I was a little nervous to buy these because Tesla recommends putting the same tires that came with the car. After doing lots of research and taking feedback from other users on the site from current Tesla owners, plus the tire shop I got these from, I decided to go with these tires. As far as road noise and the complaints, I’m confused because if anything I am finding these tires are quieter than the OEM ones that came from Continental. These also look great. Have not driven in the rain or snow yet but my biggest concern was road noise and I can assure you that is a non-issue if anything these might be slightly quieter.

    Overall, good tires

Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, whic...

Driving on CC-2's since March 2020....

I have had these Cross Climate 2 tires since March now. I LOVE THESE TIRES!!! I usually write reviews, but these tires deserve one! I have now had experience in multiple seasons driving on them and I am extremely impressed! We have our first snow here in southern Oregon, only 2-3", and I do not feet the need to rush to get my snow tires put on (I will do that soon because we'll get more snow) but these tires are safe and comfortable for now to allow me time to schedule the swap. They grip, track and perform like no other tires on any other car I have owned in my 34yrs of driving! I am now loyal to these CC-2 tires! Even my

    Great Compromise For All Seasons

We purchased a 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC 300 with run-flat tires. I was going to need snow tires plus a set of all season tires plus a set of wheels since I don’t like run-flats and wanted to replace them. My service tech advised me to go for the CrossClimate2 and I am so glad I did. They handle very well in all conditions and saved me a pile of cash. They are a little noisier than all season tires but well worth that slight compromise. They were installed in Oct, 2020.

    Excellent Tires

Bought these to go on a Toyota Corolla hatchback, then it snowed like crazy during Last part of December 2021. The ultimate test on how well they work, we are not disappointed. Even during the worst snow, and driving to conditions, these tires saved the day!

    CrossClimate 2

Wowzer, in just 3 months, I have 7,000+ miles on my new CrossClimate 2's! They were driven in some heavy rain and they are incredibly sticky, as I experimented with some sharp turns in the rain. They are also so very quiet at all speeds. Plus, they attract a lot of attention when people notice the very unique tread pattern.

    Major upgrade!

After much research, I replaced a set of Yokohama Geolander tires with a set of CrossClimate2 on my wife’s 2015 Lexus NX. WOW, what a difference in ride and road noise. It was like getting a new vehicle. The Yokohama tires were original equipment on our NX, and I always complained about the road noise and harsh ride. I thought it was the car and now I know it was the tires! I’m curious how they will perform this winter on snowy roads on our 2wd SUV. So far, great tires!

    Good All Round Performer

I replaced the OEM all seasons on my new 2024 Taos with a set of CrossClimate 2s. I CC2s on my previous Tiguan and they performed well summer and winter. I ran them for a year and a half until I traded the vehicle. Living in an apartment, the all weather tires make sense -- no storage issues and no seasonal swaps.

    Good grip. Poor mileage

Vehicle - 2022 Lexus RX 350L. I replaced the Bridgestone ecopia OEM tires at 35k miles due to wear (they are 55k tires) with Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires after considerable research. I have had Michelin tires on a number of vehicles over the years, and apart from a set of Primacy tires, I have always been pleased. While the Crossclimate 2 tires had great traction, especially when wet, there were two serious problems with them. Immediately noticeable was that they did not track well, and needed constant correction on the highway, and it almost seemed that the power steering was increased. But the major problem was with gas mileage. Probably a 15-20% drop in mileage which meant range dropping from about 440 to 385 per tank-full I’m cha...

Good All-Weather Tire; Performs Well in Snow

Bought these late into a Michigan winter in mid February and they've so far handled the ice, snow, and slush as far as momentum goes. I would still pump your brakes on the ice as these aren't a dedicated snow tire but for the price, they do a fine job. If you want a snow tire, get the Blizzak WS90. The CC2s handle excellent though around corners and stop smoothly in most conditions.

    So far so good

I bought these about a month ago after experiencing hydroplaning on the highway on the original tires. As luck would have I experienced a similar rainstorm after having the new tires mounted. They seemed to preform much better. Of course the old tires were worn. The CrossClimate 2s were much quieter than expected given the aggressive tread pattern. The true test will come once snow is on the ground. I'm a skier and looking for better winter traction without the need to swap tires out twice a year.

    Best tire ever

I purchased these tires 1 year ago and was on my SUV during last winter in NL and acted perfectly in snow and slush. I drove a 450 km in high rain and heavy wind last week and these tires worked fabulously in the rain and road ruts. I think they are the best tires I ever owned in my 55 years driving.

    One Great Tire!

Bought 3 months ago. Since then we have had snowfalls of up to 30 cm (12”) of snow and icy, compact snow roads as well as dry pavement. So fat these are about the best tires I have had on a regular vehicle. No spinning when starting out, quiet on dry pavement with good handling. One excellent thing I have noticed on ice and compact snow is little to no sideways sliding. Have not experienced heavy rainfall yet, but with traction in snow and on ice I do not expect any problems. These would be the perfect tire for the Lower Mainland of BC which gets heavy rain and occasional wet snow.
