- 5 out of 5 stars review12/28/2021Purchased tires in November, I've driven during heavy rain fall and the tire traction is excellent compared to previous Michelin tires I've owned. Excellent handling/traction on dry roads as well. Love the tire design and the look of the tires. Most of all, I feel safe with the handling and traction of the CrossClimate2 tires.

I was particularly interested in the durability of a gravel hill that is my driveway of coming up and down my old BF Goodrich tires slipped and didn’t feel very sure footed. However, these climate cross climate tires are awesome. I also have to say that I used my automobile over the weekend in heavy downpours of rain. I interstate speed my car never once felt like it was hydroplaning at all again the footprint, the footprint and the grip of the tire on the asphalt was truly remarkable. These give a comfortable ride and extreme performance on wet roads. I can't wait until I get to drive on snow this winter. I highly recommend these tires.

One critique is the tires tend to flake, leading mechanics to recommend replacement earlier than expected. Wear on the tires was pretty even and they lasted close to the 60,000 miles expected. Except for the flaking, I'd give the tires a 5 star rating.

They have a 60,000 mile warranty. I've put just over 3,500 miles on these tires, but I'm love them so far. They are much smoother and a quieter ride than my previous tires. Love them so far!

Turns out it barely snowed in my area last winter so I can't really rate the tires snow performance. I can say I've been highly impressed with the tire's wet and dry performance. Very stable in all conditions and I have noted a slight improvement in gas economy. There is a slight hum from the tires, but I only noticed it when I first purchased the tires and was curious about it. Since then I never notice road noise. Highly satisfied with my purchase and will definitely purchase again unless a CrossClimate 3 comes out first.

After doing a copious amount of research these tires perform as touted by Michelin. Ideal for the climate here in eastern Ontario. I had concerns initially that the tread pattern would cause a noisy tire but thus far road noise is acceptable

I have roughly 5,000 miles on them and they so far are the best tires I’ve owned. I replaced Mich MXV4 which were the OE but these crossclimate out perform them by far. They improved road handling,have very little road noise , are excellent in the rain and I’m still getting 35 mpg out of the V6 … the only question left to answer is how long with they last .The MXV4 lasted me 65k if these last that long I will be extremely happy.

The volt had the OE on for just under 55,000 and one had a slow leak. Got the CrossClimate®2 and right from the parking lot I noticed the the tires gave the car a tighter grip on the road, bumps seamed to be less noticeable. The tires do not roll as well as the OE and a little more tire noise, like a whine. With no engine noise to cover it up, it was expected. The car handles the hills and curves very well. My wife feel more assured that car is not going off the road and will take the curves. Had to add more air and that made the Volt cost better also did not notice any change in the handling.

Good noise level, comfort and bonus the are snowflake All Season rated if we happen to get caught off guard before we have our snow tires on. Very happy.

I only changed two before my road trip (NC to Texas end of Aug 2021) and immediately noticed reduce noise and had better handling. In New Orleans, I was there just as the hurricane was coming bringing in heavy rain. The CrossClimate 2 handled great even in heavy downpours. Last week, I picked up two more tires.. Get more rain than snow now in the northeast so thought I would give them a try. Worse decision ever. Now I have been buying Michelin tires for a long time, but these are so noisy. I thought I had a muffler problem then realized it was the tires. Sounds like I’m riding in a tank. As far a driving preferred the pilot sport. Would not recommend for a Prius.

Now got the new Cross Climate 2 and I was impressed !! The tires are amazing, quiet, smooth and the truck handles a lot better. I would highly recommend them.

Extreme control and traction in the snow, slush, rain and on summer days from one tire, well four tires. lol 2007 Ford Mustang GT. Highly recommend you get these tires for your safety and everyone elses. Suprise snow storm? No problem. Torrential rain? Thunderstorm? No problem. Casual or Spirited Drivng? No problem. Get these tires! And yes, they ride quiet.

Had an opportunity to drive these in all conditions and I must say, what an awesome tire in the snow and wet pavement. However, on dry pavement, expressway driving 70-80 MPH, getting a vibration. Not an obnoxious vibration, but definitely noticeable. Also, the tires make the car feel loose, wanting to move side to side on a dry expressway. Lastly, my fuel economy isn't nearly as good as before. Back to the dealer in a few days to check the balance on these tires.

I didn't lose grip and handling, and the ride is quiet and smooth. The performance in rain and snow have been the best I have experienced in a tire. I have been super-pleased with this tire!
