- 4 out of 5 stars review6/13/2025The tires ride and handle well. Driving conditions are primarily in warm weather so traction is not an issue. One critique is the tires tend to flake, leading mechanics to recommend replacement earlier than expected. Wear on the tires was pretty even and they lasted close to the 60,000 miles expected. Except for the flaking, I'd give the tires a 5 star rating.
Crossclimate2 Tires - second set
Mac1958Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/23/2023Purchased the Cross Climate 2 tires for our Volvo XC90 three months ago. I have been purchasing Michelin tires for over 40 years and always replace original tires with Michelins. Immediately noticed an improvement in ride quality in all aspects over the original tires. The reide was quieter, smoother and the vehicle tracked better. We took a 3,000 mile trip shortly after we put on the new tires and exxperienced about a half mile per gallon increase in mileage.. NOw that we have driven the car on both snow and ice I must say that in our opinion the best tires we have ever owned. The traction and stopping during winter driving conditions in the midwest is superb. I have recommended these tires to many friends and relatives.
BEST TIRE EVER
DW FinlanderOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/25/2022I bought these a month ago and they have been great in the snow and on dry pavement. The grip it has during turns is fantastic. I personally like the look it gives my vehicle. Took long road trips over the Holidays and our family felt safe the entire time. Haven't had them for summer yet so we will see. As of now we love the CrossClimate 2 Michelin Tires.
Has been fantastic during the Winter
FellowKOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/23/2022I am so glad I got the tires when I did. My car is still new and I thought my regular tires would be good enough for the winter here in Upstate New York, but the first hint of frost and I was sliding already. So I got my new CrossClimate tires about a month ago and I went through the foot high snow of our latest snowstorm without any problems.
Fantastic traction, even in the snowstorm
martina64Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/23/2024Absolutely the finest tire I've run. I'm a consumate Volvo S90 consumer and have always kept the Michelin CrossClimate on my vehicles. Long lasting, quiet, sturdy, amazing in aggressive driving scenarios. Wouldn't put another tire on these cars ever. The tire quality matches the vehicle quality in this case and in my opinion is second to none!Volvo EnthusiastOriginally posted onmichelinman.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review5/21/2022These work great in summer, fall, and winter. They work well in snow which is rare for all-weather tires. Getting a little less gas mileage but that's expected due to how much grip they have. Now if you'd just make an all-weather tires that works better on sports cars, I'd be so happy :)
Great year round tires. Works well in snow
Jack AOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review9/14/2022These tires are a bit on the pricey side but so far after 8 months of travel I am pleased with the product. After doing a copious amount of research these tires perform as touted by Michelin. Ideal for the climate here in eastern Ontario. I had concerns initially that the tread pattern would cause a noisy tire but thus far road noise is acceptable
Super utility tire
Papa BOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 3 out of 5 stars review9/19/2025I had to go back to the deal a few times because my tire gauge light kept on coming on and they told me it was brand new tires like go well there’s something wrong with it because my tire gauge light should not be coming on every day so finally they decided to take the tires apart. They found a low leak by the stem and they fixed it but it waste a lot of time for me to go back-and-forth.ElaineOriginally posted onmichelinman.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review5/11/2021Purchased these tires for my 2012 Camry LE 4 Cyl based on the recommendations of the Tire Shop and Michelin as a replacement to the Michelin Premier tires that wore out quicker than expected. Prior to purchasing, I was concerned about road noise given the tire's aggressive tread design. Thankfully looks are deceiving, as the tires are VERY quiet, extremely comfortable, and soak up road imperfections with ease. They really grip the road very well and are AMAZING in wet weather as this was the reason why I went for these tires. If these last a long time I will be very happy.
Great wet traction, quiet, comfortable ride
AlexOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 1 out of 5 stars review2/21/2025Bought Cross Climate for Honda CrV 2019 and 5000 miles later had 2 punctures episodes. Both looked and felt the same - knock-knock sound - and screw inside the tire thread. I googled “puncture resistance of Cross Climate tires” and found the same cases. I generally like Michelin products but this one is very disappointing.

I was pointed to these tires as being excellent, they do great in the rain but otherwise I haven’t felt that they provide superior performance and they must have a great deal of rolling resistance because I’m experiencing a reduction of 3 mpg with my Q5. Very disappointing.
Don’t disregard the reviews on poor MPG

Just drove from South Carolina to Northern Michigan with the last 4 hours in a blizzard. Cant say enough about how the tires performed....Airstream should make them standard
Awesome on the Airstream Atlas
UP BillOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review8/4/2023An awesome set of tires! Surprisingly quiet and very good traction... had a super confident drive during heavy rains the day after I got them installed. Very happy with the purchase! Acceleration seems to be cut a tightly bit compared to the original tires.
Great Tires with excellent traction and quiet ride.
Dr QOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 4 out of 5 stars review4/9/2024Overall these are good tires and I am glad I bought them. First, even though they are “all weather” and usuable year round, I swap them out for dedicated winter tires, so I cannot comment on how they preform in severe winter conditions. However, soon after putting them on this spring (March 2024), we had a few cm’s of snow in the Toronto area. They handled this spring snowfall and resulting messy roads effortlessly. In normal commuter driving around the city and during one long distance highway trip I have taken, they have preformed very well in all aspects, steering, braking, accelerating and ride, whether it is sunny or wet, the road is perfect or bumpy. The one draw back is there is some tread growl. I drive a 2017 Mazda 3, whic...
Overall, good tires
dflkoOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 2 out of 5 stars review3/14/2022I purchased these tires in September 2021. I did a lot of online research and the reviews were very positive on the traction of these tires in the rain and snow. Since I purchased them for my winter car (in Michigan) this was a huge determination in purchasing these tires. I have been very disappointed in the grip in the rain and snow. The tires easily spin when not even giving the vehicle (Dodge Journey) much gas. I paid a premium for these tires and would not purchase again based on performance.
Very disappointed in wet weather traction

They have great traction in the dry and the wet no testing for snow yet it hasn’t fallen. As expected small size pieces of gravel will get stuck in the grooves between the rows of tread… easy enough to pop out with a small screwdriver. My Toyota Sienna rides smooth with perhaps a little more noise than a regular summer tire… don’t forget, this is basically an all season tire, so you give up a little to get a lot.
Smooth Ride, Great Traction

Jack of all trades tire for Tesla. A- Overall Grade!
Vm2003Originally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/8/2022I've been driving on these tires for 12,000 miles. These tires work extremely well in heavy rain with no hydroplaning at all. Barley can get these tires to break free under heavy acceleration. Tried them out in 6 inches of snow, they worked extremely well for an AS tire. Great acceleration and braking traction. Tracked very straight when at speed. In the dry, they feel like a Performance Summer tire. They are a little noisy in the first 3000 miles, now they sound great. I recommend these tires to all my friends and family. I have been using Bridgestone 980 AS, for 3 sets, and these are far better. Used on a 2019 Hyundai Elantra Sport FWD.
Perfect All Season Tires, Especially in Rain and Snow!
XB12XTOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review1/1/2021Have had these tires for over a month now and living in Alaska have really gotten to experience the full range of winter conditions with these tires. I have them mounted on my Model Y performance, overall the traction is excellent in winter conditions on both ice and light to deep snow up to 12", very comparable to a dedicated winter tires that I have used. Wet traction is also excellent, honestly feels like dry conditions while in wet. I was honestly impressed with how quiet these are, and are very noticeably quieter then the stock 21" that come with the car. The only negative that I can say with these are that you can't really feel the corners, if you are sliding and you often won't notice as soon as you would with a traditional all seaso...
Really Great Tires! Best All-Seasons Ever
EdmundOriginally posted onmichelinman.com - 5 out of 5 stars review5/27/2022People seem to be getting confused about a couple points: 1. Wandering / Poor tracking: this tends to happen with untrained staff mounting all four tires on the wheels one direction, which makes directional tread patterns like these backwards on one side of the car, which results in poor tracking and wandering. I have had tire shops do this, and it feels exactly how some "disappointed" reviewers are describing their performance. 2. Poor MPG: Michelin has replied here to a bunch of people that fresh tire compounds result in lower mpg at first. That's not untrue necessarily, but so far people have ignored that new tires are physically larger than worn tires, even at the same nominal size. The worn tires are giving artificially high MPG f...
