- 5 out of 5 stars review9/16/2022Had these tires on for a year now. They handle and ride fantastically !! Very smooth on the road and I just love the look of them. I find them to be a much better tire than my previous All Season Tires. These tires were purchased for my car. When my SUV is ready for new tires I will definitely be purchasing CrossClimate's.

The volt had the OE on for just under 55,000 and one had a slow leak. Got the CrossClimate®2 and right from the parking lot I noticed the the tires gave the car a tighter grip on the road, bumps seamed to be less noticeable. The tires do not roll as well as the OE and a little more tire noise, like a whine. With no engine noise to cover it up, it was expected. The car handles the hills and curves very well. My wife feel more assured that car is not going off the road and will take the curves. Had to add more air and that made the Volt cost better also did not notice any change in the handling.

The tires performed great on some questionable roads, some packed with potholes. Upon inspection of the tires at the end of the trip, we found they still looked like new. We love those tires. Due to our weather differance from one city to the next I feel this is the perfect tire as it works very well in wet rainy conditions as well as snow. So leaving the rain slick roads of Chilliwack heading east over the snow cover highway to Penticton I could not ask for a better tire. Now because I live in the rainy section mostly the stopping power and distance is unreal. Thanks for such a great tire and keep moving forward.WillyOriginally posted onmichelinman.com
- 5 out of 5 stars review9/20/2022I purchased my CrossClimate 2 tires for my Honda Ridgeline G2 in preparation for Wisconsin winter. Turns out it barely snowed in my area last winter so I can't really rate the tires snow performance. I can say I've been highly impressed with the tire's wet and dry performance. Very stable in all conditions and I have noted a slight improvement in gas economy. There is a slight hum from the tires, but I only noticed it when I first purchased the tires and was curious about it. Since then I never notice road noise. Highly satisfied with my purchase and will definitely purchase again unless a CrossClimate 3 comes out first.

Best riding tire so far on this vehicle and I replaced a set of Michelin Pilots that were on before! Better dry road handling and excellent wet road handling. Have not yet experienced winter as of yet!

The tread looks like it can be an aggressive pattern, but on the highway the car is as quiet as can be. Turning is responsive as well in dry conditions. Living around the Poconos, there are many twisty roads. I can't wait to see what these tires can do in the snow. That was a major reason for the purchase.

Going through puddles and heavy water areas has less hydroplaning if any at all and the car doesn't slow down as much. The handling through turns in both wet and dry situations is awesome and I feel very secure in the handling of my vehicle as I always have if not more now. My only complaint is that they don't offer these in a 255/50-20 which is the size I need for my Ford Explorer XLT. I'm forced to buy a different tire. Hopefully they'll have a better range of sizes when i'm ready to replace those.

We have driven in snow, ice, heavy rain, high outside temperatures and the Cross Climate 2s performed exceptionally well. They are expensive but well worth the cost as they provide exceptional service in all weather conditions, exceptional durability and peace of mind driving. They replaced Latitude Tours which also gave exceptional service. We are quite pleased with our tire purchases.
High returns for high cost.

The only negative I have is they are noisy on the road especially on the rural roads where I live. But overall they handle every type of climate and would definitely purchase them again in the future.

I have had every high end tire from basically the top three or four manufacturers and these win hands down. I live in West Michigan and we get dumped on with wet, heavy lake effect snow, rain and ice. We just had about ten inches over night and I spent the morning on plowed and unplowed roads, heavily salted slushy roads, steep hills and icy bridges. Ice is a moot point for any tire but these handled exceptionally well through any of the adverse conditions the weather and road conditions had to offer from start to stop period. I cannot understand how someone would give these a bad review for winter driving saying they are spinning in slush ...
One of the best tires through snow and rain period.

In 1972, I purchased a Volvo 142 in Canada. It came with Goodyear tires which were GARBAGE after 21,000 MILES (not Kms). The replacement Michelins lasted for 63,000 MILES (not Kms) as did their replacement Michelins. In 1975, I bought a new 1957 Ford F150. It came with Firestone original equipment tires. MORE GARBAGE after 19,000 MILES!! In 61 years, I've never had a bad experience with Michelin tires and I'm a ripe 87-year-old fart!!Originally posted onmichelinman.com

These tires are so quiet and smooth riding compared to any other brand I have had. Even in the rain you can barely hear these tires compared to other. I am very well pleased with the purchase of these Michelin tires, Great Quality, thank you.

Steering feedback is greatly improved and the drive is much improved. With the full depth tread, I'm expecting no change in ride quality as they wear. Very glad I chose these.

Having said that, I have put on about 20,000 miles on my CrossClimate 2’s that I made my mechanic go and find and I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Even as they age, the traction and confidence in wet are remarkable almost as if there is no rain or snow below you. Stopping distance is terrific with these tires and they ride like a dream! The only cons that I’ve found are a 3-5% reduction in mpg (I have an HEV) and one tire continuously looses about 5psi 2-6 weeks.

I didn't need new tires, but I wanted better snow tires as I had several winter trips planned. The improvement on both dry and wet pavement was remarkable. On dry pavement the car seems to perform twice as well, especially around corners. In rain and snow, braking is better and the car feels more in control. Fuel mileage is about the same, if not better.

They have performed very well in dry, wet and hydroplaning conditions. They have also been excellent in both deep snow and heavy slush conditions. I do find that they kick up more road spray and are slightly noisier in the wheel well than my previous Michelins, which indicates to me that they are clearing more water/slush out of their footprint on the road. Fuel efficiency seems to be the same as my previous Michelins.
Better traction and the same smooth ride!
